Chapter Seven
Friend RequestI was still in utter shock as I listen to the person speaking in front of the class. My eyes were glued to Savior who was introducing himself to everyone.
"... I'm from St. Lucas Academy and I recently moved here for personal reasons. It was nice meeting all of you and I hope we could get along." Savior finished with a smile before returning to his seat, which is just in front of mine. The next student also started her introduction but I can't really seem to focus on her. My attention was rather fixated on the person sitting in front of me.
More than half are my former classmates while the rest are from other sections.
It turned out that Kelszey knew Savior was transferring here at PIS, and I can't believe I didn't get a clue of that when I registered for the new school year with Clyde and saw Savior here. From the moment he saw me earlier this morning when I entered the classroom, I could already tell he wanted to talk to me. However, I was too flabbergasted that I couldn't utter a single word so I just stayed silent and waited for my friends to arrive. They were the ones who initiated the conversation with Savior and I was able to join in, at least, for a little bit.
It's just kind of overwhelming that up until last night I was wondering if Savior was also starting school today and when I'll be able to see him again. But now, he's just in front of me. I mean, what are the odds of him transferring to PIS and sharing the same section with me? It was totally unimaginable. Though I already made peace with the fact that this is probably a good thing. Of course, it's a good thing.
Fortunately, the only thing we did for all of the class periods we have this morning was introduce ourselves. Otherwise, I would've already been called out by my teachers for spacing out on the whole class, and I don't want that to happen. I wouldn't want to embarrass myself in front of Savior.
He blended with everyone in an instant.
Lalo tuloy nila akong inasar.
While me, I was too busy thinking to get hungry.
"I asked Savior to buy me food earlier. Nakakatamad kasing bumaba," Kelszey answered. My eyes immediately went to her when she mentioned Savior's name and she was already looking at me while wearing a smirk on her face. At that moment, Savior entered the classroom, and he was indeed holding some snacks in his hand.
But all of a sudden, he turned to me and placed a pack of brownies and soy milk on top of my armchair, leaving me surprised. "I saw those in the canteen and I remembered you since I noticed you buying those when I attended the Science Fair here before," he spoke to me.
