Hello, TWA! It is a pleasure to interview you. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself? Any pen names you use to go by?

Why hello Kaos. It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm The Word Artist and I have been using this pen name ever since I came up with the idea. I've written several books and prose, most notably Small Paws, Big Pride.

Ah, I see! Without spoilers, what is Small Paws, Big Pride about? How did you get the idea to write that story?

Small Paws, Big Pride is an action/adventure short story but does not have werewolves. In fact, it has actual wolves as characters. Following the life of Everblaze, a young wolf pup, the story explains the true nature of a genuine leader. That's why I tagged the book under leadership.

I first got the idea when I started playing WildCraft, one of my favourite animal simulators. I have, since young, loved wolves. The classic cliché plot involving wolves is that they are the antagonists and they kill livestock and whatnot. But in fact, wolves have lives and families too, like humans. They kill livestock for food, as we do. But wolves are plummeting to extinction, such as the red wolf, which has less than 40 left in the wild. I wanted to convey this message to the readers and raise awareness.

As a side note, it was written for children, but the sequel (upcoming) is darker than the prequel.

Oh, that is wonderful. There are so many authors who are trying to write about their love for wolves!

What makes your writing different from everyone else?

That's difficult to answer actually *chuckles* I'm still growing as an author, so there is still a place for improvement. But if you want me to answer, I'd say it's my idea. Every story starts from a great idea, which then grows into a story. For example, one of my favourite ideas was The Ghost Express, a short story on my website talking about a girl who dies and gets sent on the Ghost Express.

Seems like most of your inspirations come from yourself! What would you say is your style of writing?

I prefer to leave with cliffhangers at every moment possible. As an avid Action Adventure writer, it is common for me to always leave a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. And, with my new mystery story, I will soon try out using suspense alongside my cliffhangers.

Ah, that is interesting! Were there times when you had writer's block? How did you get over them?

Yes, of course. However, I have overcome it in a different way. That is because, when I was younger, I would toss the book aside and stop the story right there. Now, I put my mind to it and think about it when I can. I will now think about the story whenever I can, even if I cannot write it. Compared to writing a plot twist, this way will help change me as a better writer, not just for one book.

Wonderful. I'm glad to know you're growing each day as a writer! So far, how many books have you written? Do you have a favourite among them?

I have written just about 5. Due to the fact that I used to stop halfway, most of my books did not make it to the end. However, I have finished about 5, 2 of which are novelettes. I prefer writing short stories, 10 of which I have written. As for my favourite... well I'd say it'll be a collaboration with my best friend. We wrote a story about a house with everything you need with futuristic upgrades and more. My friend did most of the writing and I planned, but I was proud of myself when it finished. Do you know why? The main idea was mine. And I love it so much, I always tell myself when I get the chance, I'll publish it.

Oh, that's amazing! Your ideas really seem fantastic. Hopefully, you do get a chance to publish your favourites! So what do you think makes a good story?

I think what makes a good story is power. Power enables writers to write great scenes with a flourish. Power is the quality readers want a protagonist to have. Power connects the readers with the characters.

Wow. That answer is powerful. Well, thank you for the interview TWA! Is there anything you'd like to tell your readers?

If you like my stories, welcome. If you doubt my power of writing, well, I dare you to leave and come back to my stories in 5 years' time. You will be surprised at how much I have improved. Because your hate comments do not bring me down, they drive me forward.

Thank you, Kaos. It was a pleasure being interviewed!
