Hello! I'm Esmerald, an interviewer for the Gemme Community. What is your name?

My name is Vanshika.

Nice to meet you, Vanshika! Before we talk about your book "Broken Relations," would you mind if we first dive into what makes you who you are as an author and person?

Yes sure!!!

Great! First of all, I'm curious (and I'm sure our readers are as well) about something. How did you get into writing? What was your writing "spark" so to speak?

From childhood, I had a passion for writing and I wanted to go ahead in this field. Back in 2015, I got an opportunity through Amazon wherein I could self-publish my books. I had successfully written two E-Books. I've also been writing articles for various magazines.

That's so cool! Congrats on your successes thus far! How do you plan to expand your passion for writing? By writing on other platforms, perhaps?

Yes, definitely Now I'm joining some Communities on Wattpad though I'm able to learn many new things and enhance my writing skills. In addition to that, I'm also active on Inkitt and writing some novels for now.

Awesome! What type of writing style do you have? Is it different from other authors? If so, what makes it different?

I have narrative and creative writing. It entirely depends on the book I write because I've to change my writing style accordingly. But in my major, I have these two writing styles. I don't think it is kinda different from other authors.

Oh, ok! That's interesting! Do you have a favorite author? If so, who are they? Did they help inspire you to write?

Yes! She's Adrienna. She has definitely inspired me to write. I love her style of describing each and every single thing.

Woah that's cool! What do you do if you get writers block?

It's a tough question to answer, and I'm afraid I don't have a great solution. That's the thing about writing: it's an art, not a science. And we'll have to approach it as such. Well, if that situation ever come I have a solution for it.

I overcome writer's block by writing. I randomly Start somewhere, anywhere a few lines, I Say anything. And see what happens. I Don't think about it too much or make any fancy announcements. I Just write. It doesn't need to be eloquent or presentable; it just needs to be written.

Woah, that's a very fascinating approach! I've never thought about doing that when I get writers block! Have you ever had to deal with negative comments or reviews on your stories?

No, till now I've never dealt with any of the negative comments & reviews

Ah! Well, I think now is a good time to dive in to your story "Broken Relations!" I read the blurb and it says that Jeon Ara has a "double personality." What two sides does she have?

Jeon Ara is an Underworld Mafia in this story but her identity is hidden from everyone. Only her brother knows about this. For the world, she's a mere university or college student.

Ooo interesting! The first sentence of the blurb has me wondering: how is love represented in this story?

There are two best friends in this story. Somehow they got separated but they still loved and waited for each other to come back and it will finally come true. At the end of the story, they will be united.

That's a beautiful way to use the emotion of love! With that being said, I'm curious: what do you think plays a part in making a good story in any genre? (Plot, characters, etc)

Most importantly I feel like the plot and development of each and every character including the side ones makes a story super hit in any genre.

So true! Do you design any graphics for your books?

Yes! But I'm not very good at it.

Oh, I'm sure you are! How long have you been graphic designing?

It has been a year since I started graphic designing.

Cool! In your opinion, what's the best cover you've ever designed?

Well, I guess I like the cover of MAFIA AND SECRET AGENT SEASON 1".

Ah! Do you have a graphic designer on Wattpad that inspires you?

Yes, I do have graphic designers who've inspired me.

How nice! Would you mind sharing who they are?

Well, I know only one. Her username is Bangtan Lover.

Wonderful! What do you believe is the most underrated genre on Wattpad? (Fantasy, Memoir, etc). What do you think makes that genre so underrated?

I think the most underrated genre is Fantasy (according to me). The writers usually don't have a good plot and visualization of their books which makes the readers sometimes a bit confused in the storyline and they lose their interest in reading.

Ah! I definitely believe romance stories overtake most genres. With the Watty's 2022 coming to an end, have you considered entering one of your books in the Watty's 2023?

I haven't thought of enlisting any book of mine in Wartty's 2023 for now because they need some editing and currently I'm on a Hiatus since my exams are around the corner I'm not getting much time for either updating or editing. So for now it's a no from my side.

Ah, I'm the same way! I've thought about it, but my books also need a lot of editing that I'm far too busy for. If you haven't decided to enter the Watty's, have you ever thought of entering your book in any other awards on Wattpad?

You see I'm a newbie on Wattpad and none of my books are completed. Also, I've to edit many parts in each and every book and some books I haven't even started. So I've never made a step forward to enter any of my books In any awards on Wattpad. Well I've been a judge for many awards programs held on Wattpad.

Ah, ok! That's great! Sadly, this interview must come to an end. Before it does, I have one final question for you. What's the best advice you can give to aspiring authors who may have underrated and undiscovered stories?

I want to say that Writers are the most essential people for today's generation. They possess to change the world through their words.

One piece of advice from my side is to never stop writing. No matter how hard the time is for you, everyone has ups and downs in their life so that's common. Don't be demotivated if you're getting no views and comments. Just go through your book again and analyze your faults and recreate them again but please don't stop writing. That's a humble request from my side to each and everyone reading this. And last but not least be patient with yourself and your writing. Don't stress yourself too much.

That's all I wanted to say. It was nice talking to you. Have a great day/night ahead.

I love that advice! It's very inspiring! Well, our interview has come to an end. It was amazing talking to you as well! I hope you have a good night/day as well!
