The forgotten one

Chapter 5

Jacks G's POV

So our flight has just landed and this beautiful girl was asleep on my shoulder. I just realized I never asked for her name, as I thought that her phone buzzed. I gently untangled her fingers from her phone.

From Mom:

Hey Lola, here is a pic of your mom so you can find her after you get off your flight, love you😘

I opened up the attachment and it was a picture of Elizabeth? Wait, what! How can this be her daughter? Since when does she have a fourteen your old teenager girl? Could she be like his twin or something? Idk.

"please fasten your seatbelt we will be landing soon" the pilot said as Lola started to move around. I gently locked her seatbelt over her waist and let her sleep.

*Getting off the Plane*

"Hey Lola, we just landed. Time to wake up" I said lightly shaking her.

"Huh what? Oh hi :)" she said a little confused then with a smile on her face. Aww her smile :)

Lola's POV

I felt someone shaking me on my shoulders and I looked up to see that handsome boy sitting beside me smiling.

"Huh what? Oh hi" i said with a geekish smile on my face.

"I never exactly got your name, I'm Jack" he said.

"Lola Garcia, well Grier I guess..." I said a little tongue tied,

We continued our conversation as we walked out of the airplane and through the tunnel.

"So Grier... Does that mean you are the daughter of The Elizabeth Grier" he said making it clear that she was a big deal.

"Yep, the abandoned child of hers I guess..." I said kind of sad, "But I hope she likes me."

"Are you kidding me?!? How could she not like you, number one you are her daughter-" "The one she abandoned..." I said quietly. "and two, from the couple hours I've spent with you I think you're pretty amazing.

"Thanks I hope your right" I said, then I saw her... Elizabeth.

"Holy Cow! Lola? I'm Elizabeth, your birth mom." she told me as she came up and engulfed me in a hug. at first I was hesitant but then it just felt normal, like I had known her my whole life.

" Hhhhhhii, umm well I guess im your daughter" I said with a shakiness in my voice.

"Well how stupid can I be! Lets get you home! she said super excited.

" oh ok then" I replied. Before we left I turned around to see Jack standing there awkwardly.

"Oh Jack! How rude of me! Have you met mybeautiful daughter Lola?" she asked him.

"Hi Mrs. Grier, and yes in fact I kept her company on our flight here," he said nudging my shoulder.

"Ya I guess he makes a good pillow..." I said laughing.

"ok you two, get your butts in the car and lets go surprise Hayes..."
