Paige's POV -

-

The light of day streamed through the blinds, waking Paige up.

Sadie was still asleep next to her, and when she slipped out of her grasp, the famous teen woke up.

"What's the time?"

Paige glanced at the clock that rested beside the bed and replied. "It's six in the morning."

"Six? Already?!" Sadie sat up, her red hair sticking untidily around her pale head. Without even pausing, she removed the sheets and scrambled to get out of bed.

"Wait! Don't leave me!" Paige wasn't ready for the unexpected hurry. She grabbed Sadie's wrist before the other girl was out of reach.

"What?"

"I uh—"

Sadie's eyes were scorching into her, a fiery blaze of blue as she waited for an answer.

"Is something bothering you?"

Paige couldn't help but blush as she said her next sentence. "I... want you to stay here... of course if it's no problem." She quickly added the last few words in a rush, trying to make it sound normal, and not creepy.

Sadie looked at her for a few moments before she replied by climbing back in beside her, and wrapped her arms around her waist after pulling the covers up over the both of them.

The red haired girl's breath was inches away from her face.

Paige snuggled deeper into the covers, and Sadie pulled her even closer up against her chest. Neither one of them said a word for the longest ten minutes.

Finally, Paige had the courage to say what was on her mind for a while.

"I think I... like you... like a lot..." she trailed off, silently wincing, wondering what kind of reply she would get.

Sadie Sink just pulled away some of the blonde strands of hair that had fallen into her face, most likely stalling for time, Paige guessed.

She didn't expect the flame colored girl's lips to softly meet her cheek. Not at all.

Grinning inwardly, Paige flipped to face the older teen after breaking contact.

"I think you missed."

"What do you mean?" Sadie blinked her ice colored eyes in confusion.

Paige didn't answer, just pressed her lips to hers, not really aware of what she had said, or was doing. Maybe she was trying to enjoy the moment.
