The next morning Namjoon woke up with the kiss still going through his head. It was a lot different from the kisses he got from Somi. Not different as unfamiliar, just different.

Somi didn't like hard kisses, always complaining that it bruised her lips. If there was a small bruise anywhere on her body, she'd complain about the amount of make-up and the time it would take for the photographer to touch it up on the computer, so Namjoon was always real careful to not hold her too tight. She always says her body is the way she makes her money, so she had to be careful, which meant Namjoon had to be careful.

Speaking of Somi, she hadn't called him at all in the entire time she had been gone, which was strange. Usually she would be calling once or twice a day to check on him, but she hadn't called him once. It wasn't that he was worried. It was just strange.

Since Jin was in the shower, he felt he could safely call her without interruptions. Picking up his phone, he dialed Somi's number and heard it ring before it went to voicemail.

-Hello, this is Lee Somi. I can't come to the phone right now, so leave a message at the beep.-

The phone beeped. Namjoon took a deep breath and spoke.

"Hello, Somi, it's Namjoon. I was just wondering how you were doing. I haven't heard from you for a while. I hope your photoshoots are doing okay and to hear from you soon. Bye."

He hung up just as Jin walked out with a towel around his neck and another drying his hair. He wore just a pair of blue jeans. Namjoon gulped at seeing Jin's sculpted chest. Namjoon's breath caught in his throat. Michaelangelo would have a field day with this guy.

Jin turned to glance at him and Namjoon quickly looked away.

"The girlfriend?" asked Jin. Namjoon looked at him in confusion and Jin nodded to the phone in Namjoon's hand. "What did she say?"

"Nothing. Voicemail," said Namjoon. "She'll call back soon."

"When was the last time you spoke to her?"

"The day before I left," said Namjoon.

"And she hasn't called you?"

Namjoon turned to look at Jin and said "Leave it alone", but the brunette ignored it.

"If you ask me, that's fate trying to tell you something."

"You believe in fate?" asked Namjoon.

"I believe that something is pulling us toward where we're meant to go, if we're willing to listen and follow. That there's no such thing as coincidence." said Jin pulling on a shirt.

Namjoon looked at Jin in silent awe as the other man put on a shirt. This young man had led a hard life, but it didn't drag him down or repress him. Meanwhile, Namjoon tried to be what everyone else wanted. Where did Jin find the strength?

"Jin, about last night..."

"You don't need to apologize," said Jin. "I was at fault. It's been a while since I've had a partner and you are handsome." He gave Namjoon a sly smile before continuing. "I know you have a girlfriend and I respect that. I just hope she knows what she has before it's too late."

Before Namjoon could say anything, Jin picked up his bag.

"Let's go. We're still ten hours from New York."

Deciding that talking was out for the morning, Namjoon gathered his bags and followed Jin to the car. Pulling out of the hotel, they started back onto the road.

The ride was unusually quiet. Jin was usually making some kind of conversation, was always talking, singing, or doing something with his voice, but Jin decided to spend his time reading a book called "The Little Prince", only speaking when giving directions to Namjoon. The whole kiss thing probably upset him despite his assurance that it was okay.
