As Esdeath, Najenda, Stylish and Dorothea picked up the controller, Dorothea had something to say before they start the mission.

"So... are we going to see more Forerunner artifacts... Delta?" Dorothea asked while containing her excitement. Ever since she first saw the Forerunner machinery of the ring, the architecture, and how beautiful they were she would rather spend the rest of her life studying them and replicating them than doing another experiment on another savage mutated Danger Beast for the stagnant Empire ever again.

"Oh yes Reclaimer, you will see more in this level and the facility is quite large too. It has many diverting paths that you could get lost in if you lose track." Delta answered nicely. Dorothea decided to pull out a notepad and a pen to draw a map of the place including the hallways of the interior.

"Pardon me for asking Reclaimer, but I noticed since I got here my scans picked up many abnormalities on your body. May I ask what they are please?" Delta asked in slight worry as she had a feeling that she added these abnormalities on herself and this made her worry as she remembered a certain Forerunner who was in charge of the Forerunner Military who did the same thing to his own under desperate circumstances to save his people while being infected with the logic plague.

"...oh uhh... can we talk about that later please.... Somewhere private?" Dorothea replied nervously.

"As you wish Reclaimer but... I want to talk about this after the mission." Delta replied. Dorothea just nodded in a bit of shame as she can tell from Delta's tone she would be against the adjustments she did on her body to remain youthful and turned herself into a blood sucker.

(Cutscene)

Two Pelican dropships, Echo 419, in front, and Bravo 022, in back, approach an island, low over the water. The Master Chief is inside Echo 419.

"This is going to be interesting." Najenda said as she saw the two pelicans flying towards the Island.

Stylish just drew some quick blue prints for the Pelicans and its weapons and armor for future reference.

"This is where the fun begins." Esdeath said sadistically and Delta was beginning to get tired of this sadism Esdeath had. She remembered many of these types of people in the Archive's recorded history from before and after the firing of the array. Many of them lived during Forerunner-Flood war and even the war with Ancient Humanity with many of them meeting their ends by the hands the parasite. Much them weren't even allowed to die fast because of how valuable they were with knowledge... which sent shiver down Delta's core. She secretly couldn't wait to see Esdeath stop acting like this once the Flood arrive. She shivered at the thought of them for they had an aura that goes beyond simple blood lusted sadism.

A primordial aura...

She turned back to the game to get rid of such thoughts.

(Gameplay)

Cortana: "The Covenant believe that what they call the "Silent Cartographer" is somewhere under this island. The Cartographer is a map room that will lead us to Halo's control center. The island has multiple structures and installations. One of them contains the map room."

"This is a huge island and we only have like a dozen guys supporting us to capture it?" Wave said as he remembers even raiding a pirate base would take more then just a dozen men to handle from what his captain said before.

"They are not capturing it they are just raiding the area; capture any artifacts or intelligence, then they need to get out of there. They probably don't have the numbers to hold it anyway since the ship crashed." Bulat replied as he remembers his time under a competent general like Liver before he was blackmailed by the bastard Honest.
