Junkyu's first task was pretty simple, yet just as risky. To start a raid, or an investigation, the most important parameter is location. Jihoon's location was well hidden. No one knew where he lived, he only mentioned a random name to Junkyu once. There was no lead. Hyunsuk couldn't possibly try to find Jihoon's place with a vague hint, that too not alerting Jihoon. So, he appointed Junkyu with the duty to find out Jihoon's abode, technically, not practically.
Junkyu was provided with a micro GPS tracking chip with additional instructions to put it in any part of Jihoon's clothes. It was a tricky thing to do. Luckily, Junkyu had access to touch Jihoon anywhere since they were 'boyfriends'. While making out, he put the chip in Jihoon's back pocket which he knew the elder barely ever touched. Jihoon didn't doubt a thing. Not even when he sat on his butt which Junkyu was highly scared of. Jihoon took the chip home, giving away the first clue, his location.
Junkyu's second task was even more tricky. This time, he'd have to be more natural because he would have to occupy Jihoon for a long time. To give the other party enough time to carry on the raid. Junkyu chose a whole day long theme park date for his holiday. Jihoon agreed happily. He had no clue that the innocent looking Junkyu would be planning his demise. Jihoon might be careful, cunning, but his biggest flaw was his confidence. Junkyu made full use of that.
Hyunsuk conducted the raid on his own, with his right hand man, Bang Yedam by his side, and the left hand man, Hamada Asahi on watch. He carried a filming camera to record every bit of the place. The raid would sketch their action, it was of high importance.
To avoid leaving any trace, they both wore rubber gloves. For safety, they carried tasers. Hyunsuk unlocked the door with an easy trick he learnt in his initial years. Him and Yedam entered inside Jihoon's apartment.
The place was pretty normal at first glance. The walls were musty, with a weird smell of gasoline and rotten food, but nothing out of the ordinary. Yedam tried to turn on the light, but none except a green dim light worked. They checked the whole room carefully, but found nothing. Walking ahead, they faced dirty floor, a barely used kitchen with flies over the small dustbin. Yedam held his nose, the smell was really bad.
"How can someone live in such a place?" He uttered. He wanted to puke. Hyunsuk shrugged. They were talking about a man obsessed with roses carved on human skin. He wouldn't be ordinary, would he?
They reached a second and rather empty room. It had LED lighting all across the corner. Yedam turned the light on. There was an empty chair with nylon ropes spread across it. He looked at Hyunsuk.
"Is this where he...?"
"I guess so." Hyunsuk said. He filmed every corner of the room and looked for a hidden chamber or any sort of clue on the walls. There was nothing. The whole room was surprisingly bare.
"Are these blood stains?" Yedam asked, pointing at the nasty black marks on the floor. Hyunsuk sniffed them from up close. They seemed like burnt chemicals. Hyunsuk shook his head, "I don't think so. What I am certain about is that this is the place."
Yedam looked at him in curiosity, "So this is where he executes those... murders?"
Hyunsuk nodded. "Yedam ah, take the fingerprints on the ropes if you find any. And look for anything suspicious here, I'll go check the other rooms."
Yedam agreed. He watched Hyunsuk go to the last room of the apartment, Jihoon's bedroom.
At first glance, it was of an ordinary boy who lives alone. A small single bed, a closet, desk and chair and at one corner, one metallic tool. Compared to the other rooms of the house, it was clean, actually livable. Hyunsuk went to the closet, unlocked it and looked for any unusual stuff. Apart from clothing, there was nothing special, until he opened a drawer.
