betty and Jughead were dating in high school. Betty is 17 and she gets pregnant. Jughead is happy for her but the moment she's about to have her baby he leaves her. he leaves her while she's in the hospital about to give birth.

Betty and Jughead are sleeping in their bed. Liv comes in the room with the twins. Betty sits up. B"good morning liv, twins." Betty takes the twins. B"happy birthday twins!" They get out of bed. O"daddy!" B"no livy, let him sleep." O"ok mommy." B"lets go get some breakfast." O"ok, I'll take Gabriella." B"ok." Liv picks up Gabriella and they got to the kitchen. They put the twins in the highchairs. B"im making birthday pancakes, is that ok with you guys?" O"yes!" G&I"bababa" b"then it's settled." Betty makes pancakes. They sit at the table. Liv eats her pancakes and Betty feeds the twins. Jughead comes in. J"good morning family." He kisses the twins on the head. J"happy birthday twins." Jughead sits at the table. B"veronica said she is having the twins birthday at her penthouse and she is setting up the decorations." J"well that's nice of her. I do want them to have a memorable first birthday and Veronica throws the best parties." B"yeah, considering we made liv at her party in high school." Betty smiled. O"what do you mean mommy?" Jughead laughs. B"nothing bunny." Liv shrugs it off. B"we should get ready for the day, I'll clean up the twins." J"ok."
