"I think you should talk to him," Chi Kook said after a few moments, subtly moving slightly closer to Ba Reum. He was feeling slightly jealous about Ba Reum just hugging a strange alpha, and he was unconsciously testing to see if Ba Reum would do the same to him.

During the past few days, he had sat with Ba Reum as much as his work allowed him, and he had surrounded himself with the strong, but pleasant smell of his friend in heat, glad that they had compatible scents.

The added touch of the virginity had made him some of his more protective instincts arise, he had almost gotten into a fight with a nurse who asked him to get out of the room when she had to change sheets. It was lucky it had been an omega one, otherwise it might have ended in him being removed forcefully from the room.

Knowing what happened to Ba Reum, he always felt ashamed when he came home and masturbated, thinking about his best friend, his clothes soaked in the pheromones that hung in the little hospital room always pressed close to his nose.

Now, Ba Reum's scent didn't have the heat in there anymore, and even though it was much more subtle, it was still very much present and still very pleasant. The virgin smell had faded as well, and unless you knew it was there, people wouldn't notice it at all.

"Talk to him?" Ba Reum asked, looking at Chi Kook confused. He was trying to breathe in shallowly, trying to keep the scent of Chi Kook away from him as possible. It surprised him how pleasant his friend smelled, and Ba Reum could just feel that he was getting the same desire to hug it as close as possible, and just wanted to let it claim his full attention and wash away his worries for just a moment.

But he had to try, at least, if he didn't want to estrange his friend from him by acting like that. It had already been bad enough that he hugged the detective like that, and he wondered if Chi Kook's opinion of him had already low though he was easy like that, desiring sex even out of heat. It had been so shameful that he hadn't been able to control his own body, and his friend had seen it.

"Talk to the detective, about what happened," Chi Kook repeated, and Ba Reum's mind caught up with the previous conversation, "if the people that hurt you are still out there, they might hurt someone else,"

"I might got talk to the detective," Ba Rem conceded, wondering if he ever would get the courage. The thought that other people had to go through what he did was a painful one though, and if anything was going to give him the incentive to talk about it, it was the fact that he would loathe the same to happen to other omegas.

"That's good. And if you need it, me and Dong Koo are here to listen as well," Chi Kook assured, lying his hand on Ba Reum, who took in a sharp breath. The comforting pheromones of Chi Kook were enveloping him, and he nearly surged forward if it hadn't been for the knock on the door and the nurse that entered right after, saying that visitor hours were over.

Ba Reum gripped his sheets, trying to find something to hold on too. He was almost dizzy with his want to get the scent closer, but Chi Kook was already grabbing his stuff, removing temptation.

"Well, I'll guess I'll see you tomorrow," the man said with a smile, burying the disappointment that Ba Reum felt stronger about the stranger then him deep within. Ba Reum nodded faintly, trying to hold on to his dignity. It was only after Chi Kook closed the door that he whimpered in want, pressing his fist to his mouth in the hope to mute the sound.

Now that he was alone in the room, Ba Reum was able to concentrate a bit more on himself, taking in deep breaths and letting the scent wash over him. A few minutes later, and he managed to collect himself again. He sat up a bit more, feeling a small pain shoot through his backside, but it was more of a twinge than anything else.
