Moo Chi entered the Chief's office, not liking to leave Ba Reum with that other alpha. It wasn't just that Ba Reum's scent had that unhappy smell around the other man, but the small undercurrent of musk from the alpha that made Moo Chi's instincts scream at him to stay near the omega and make sure the alpha kept his paws all to himself.

Unhappily, he ignored it, realising that the cop wouldn't act on that lust and that Ba Reum wouldn't be alone with him for the moment.

"So, you wanted to see me?" the chief asked, sitting down at his desk. Moo Chi took the opposite seat and put a little device on the desk.

"Yeah. I still had Ba Reum's body cam, from before his sick leave. We had to get a copy of the video files for the case, but we hadn't got the chanche to return it yet," Moo Chi explained, and the chief leaned over to take it in his hand.

"What case?" he asked, and Moo Chi shifted uncomfortably in his seat, hesitating a little.

"It's an old rape case," he said eventually, making the chief raise an eyebrow.

"You know that I will have to verify the contents before I sort it through," the chief mentioned it, and Moo Chi flinched slightly.

"I know," Moo Chi said, feeling a bit bad about Ba Reum, "I hope your discreet about what you'll see,"

"As discreet as necessary," the man said, his curiosity peeked a little. Moo Chi nodded, leavin the man behind.

The door closed behind him, and after a few moments, the chief inserted the data card in his computer, opening the last video file, curious about what had happened before Ba Reum's sudden sick leave.

Ba Reum was nervously standing in the reception area of the station, a coat over his uniform now he was off duty. He wasn't sure if waiting for Moo Chi was a good idea, seeing that he was trying to control his instincts.

After the alpha had left, Woo Ki had given him a dirty look.

"You know, I don't care if you're an omega," the man had said with a sneer, "but your boytoys better not interfere with your work,"

"He's not my boytoy," Ba Reum had denied, his voice still a bit high and his cheeks flushed, but Woo Ki had just snorted.

"God, do you even realise the way you smell right now. Another moment longer and you were going to bend over and lower your pants for him," the man had said, "if your that desperate, I know much better alphas than that detective to make you screaming in lust,"

Ba Reum had gaped at the words, and for a moment was speechless, just staring at the man.

"I have to go, my shift is over," Ba Reum managed to force out a moment later, getting up from his desk so quickly he nearly upended his chair. Woo Ki looked at him go, his look now leering, making Ba Reum feel even more uncomfortable than before.

Even now, standing in the entrance, he was still wary of everyone who passed and decided that he couldn't wait anymore, and left the building, guilt immediately building but the build up from scents was just too much and the acrid scent of Woo Ki was still burning in his nose and he just had to get away.

Moo Chi just saw Ba Reum leave the building agitatidely when he exited the Chief's office, and hurried behind him, jogging a little.

"Hey, wait up for a sec," he said loudly and he was glad when the man stopped and turned around.

Ba Reum put his shaking hands in his pockets, trying to not let Moo Chi notice the way the nervous movements. His body was put in a way wich didn't outwardly look nervous, but the anxiety wafting off of him was easy to scent out for Moo Chi.
