"Okay," Nancy said with a heavy sigh. "What do you want?" Before asking her to do something, Michael gives her a puppy-doll face to make her more vulnerable to agreeing. "Can I please, please, please," he says passionately, stretching out the "e" in the last please before going on. "-come along with you."

Despite her astonished and irritated expression, she gave up since she really needed the rope. "Ugh, fine," she groaned. "As long as you don't cause any issues while doing so." Michael's enthusiasm increased as he saw that she complied with his request. "Thank you!" In a moment of surprise, he accidentally embraced Nancy, but she quickly pushed away. "All right, will you hand me the rope now?" He nearly entirely forgot and stood up. " "Oh, right," He went over to his room to get the rope, and as soon as he did, he ran back. "Alright," He was sprinting and was out of breath. "Got it." "Great, get ready what you need," she said as she snatched the rope from his grasp. Michael only continued to look at her as she pulled a cloak out of her wardrobe drawer. "What are you doing?" she said, turning to face him. It was her. As soon as he came to, he winced and said, "Oh, um, I was just thinking. Wouldn't we need money to buy things?" Fortunately, Nancy reached for a bag on the table, shook it, and a noise of coins were heard. "You don't want anyone catching you outdoors, so get a cloak as well." She tosses Michael another cloak from her wardrobe, but he misses and has to stoop to pick it up off the ground. To prepare for the sneak away, they each make adjustments to their cloaks.

Nancy flung the rope down after opening her drapes. She attaches the rope's segment to the headboard of her bed while holding it in her hands. Pulls it firmly to see whether it can support them. "Alright... Get ready," she says as she puts her hood over her head. Michael signaled his readiness by nodding. The first person to exit the window was Nancy, who cautiously and gently descended the rope. Every movement makes her hold tighter.

Nancy's legs abruptly caused her to slide down the rope as soon as they were hovering over it. When she realized she was still alive, she gasped in amazement and exhaled with relief. She turned her head to the ceiling and peered through the window at Michael. "Let's go! It's alright "He was hesitant to climb the rope, but since there was no turning back, he did so while attempting to ignore the risks. He followed Nancy's example and glided down abruptly while holding the rope. He imitated his sister by pulling the hood of the cloak over his head as soon as his feet made contact with the ground. Before moving forward, she made sure there were no guards nearby by looking in both directions. She commanded, "Follow me," and then sprinted through the garden, leaping the fence. Michael trailed behind, making every effort to maintain. Keep in mind that he wasn't really athletic, especially considering how sticklike his frame is.

They paused to take a deep breath after completing obstacle courses built by their very own castle; they had grown exhausted from their incessant running and sneaking. To put their upper bodies on their knees, they knelt down. Nancy glanced in front of her to confirm that they were outside. also known as freedom. Since the sun was going to set, the town was deserted at this time. Locals could walk along this one, wide path that was flanked by stores; too bad they couldn't stop to take in the town's beauty. They would be caught if they continued to gawk for too long.

"What's the name of the store even?" When Nancy hears Michael ask a question, she muses over earlier things she has heard. "It was called "The Golden Tavern," or at least that's what I have heard," she finally realized. She was perplexed as to why his expression on his face altered instantly, as his face abruptly turned into full shock "Why? Why do you find this surprising?" His expression then shifted to one of disappointment when he realized she didn't know who owned the shop. "The proprietor of the shop you wish to visit is "The Golden Witch," have you ever heard of her?" Nancy nods in a sign of saying "No". " Wow, you're really behind." says Michael. She smacks his back and turns her head to her front in annoyance in reaction to his remark. " Whatever, just direct me to the store, please." When they began to move, the majority of the storefront lights had already gone out. They felt relieved when they could go alone for the first time, but they also felt scared that a guard would notice them. Alternatively, someone who is still awake will expose them. When Michael finally noticed it, he said to Nancy, "Nancy, I found it!" She raced over to him as soon as she heard her brother shout. The Golden Tavern's sign was read by both of them. When they finally located the store they needed to go to, Nancy grinned with relief.
