The Plan

Jace, Alexander, and I were in Jace's office when Tehya walked in. "Jace the others haven't gotten back yet do you want me to send a search party?" Jace sighed and said, "No, we can't risk the possibility of them getting captured as well. I want our priority to focus on finding these rogues." I looked to Jace and said, "Jace, your forgetting that we have Alexander and his pack here to help. Why don't we have Alexander send some of his pack out to search for our missing members while the rest of us search for the rogues?" I looked to Alexander with a questioning look, he nodded and walked out the door to give the order to his pack members. 

Jace wrapped his arms around me and said, "Your going to make a great queen." I gave him a questioning look and said, "What?" He laughed and said, "I'm the aire to be the king of all vampires." I coughed and said, "What? So I'm next in line to be the queen?" He laughed and nodded. "Don't tell me your getting cold feet already?" I shook my head and said, "More like im on the verge of loosing my shit."Jace wrapped his arms around me and said, "You don't have to worry, my love, everything will be fine. You'll see." I shook my head. "Jace, you don't understand. These people are willing to lay down their lives to save mine, I should be doing the same thing. If I am to be Queen then shouldn't I alone be putting my life on the line? These people could die trying to protect me! No one should have to!"
Jace tightened his arms around me and tilted my head up so that I was looking at him. "Anastasia, every last one of us would gladly lay down our lives to protect you, your not in this alone. Yes, no one should have to die, but with you fighting along side us then they haven't died in vain. We're in this together, so we die together." I smiled at him and gave him a lingering kiss. "Lets fine these sons of a bitches."
He laughed and said, "We will but first, we need to come up with a plan." I smiled and said, "I already have one." He tiled his head to the side and said, "Okay, I'm listening." I laughed. "Just be ready for school tomorrow." Jace shook his head. "Hell no. If your doing what I think your doing the answer is hell no." I laughed again. "Jace its called drawing the enemy out. We will go to school tomorrow then when they come to get me, you and whoever else that's from our clan will be there to attack him. We'll capture him then bring him here for questioning." Jace smiled and said, "That is a genius idea, but what if they overpower us?"
"Then you'll be able to track me using my scent and the pack. Either way we'll win." Jace laughed and shook his head. "I can't believe I'm about to agree to this, but what other choice do we have." I laughed and said, "Don't worry. It'll work out in our favor. You'll see."
    I woke up the next day and smiled. Jace was holding onto me almost as if his life depended on it and was breathing evenly which meant he was still asleep. I giggled and tried to untangle myself from him but his arm tightened. "No, I'm not ready to let you go yet." I laughed and said, "Jace, come on, we have to get ready." He nodded and said, "Later." He quickly got on top of me and raised my arms over my head. "Right now, I just want to enjoy having you at my disposal." I gasped as I felt butterflies in my lower belly and swallowed as my mouth went completely dry.
Jace laughed and brushed his lips across my ear. I arched my back against him, pressing my body against his. His eyes grew lustful and his fangs extended. "Anastasia, you have no idea what your doing to me." He leaned down and trailed gentle kisses down my cheek and down to my neck. I moaned softly making Jace smile against the flesh of my neck. "I think I'm going to tease you." I groaned and said, "Like you holding my hands making me stay still isn't torture enough." He laughed.
"Anastasia, don't tell me that you can't handle it." I smiled as I now knew what he was doing. He was stalling. " Jace if you don't get off of me right now, I'll make you regret it." He gave me a startled look. "Not everyone is intrigued by your charms." He got off the bed and said, "I'm sorry I just don't want anything to happen to you." I shook my head. "Have faith in me. Okay?" He nodded his head before we went our separate ways to start getting ready.
