Emily was used to having friends being threatened, as it was a normal risk in your field- but you were different. Hearing you crying in pain as someone tortured you on a voice recording the unsub sent the team was enough to infuriate her. Her heart was breaking at the thought of you getting hurt, but it was also fuelling a rage to find the guy who had taken you. Emily wasn't stupid, she knew that she had to keep a level head when locating you so that she wouldn't be told to stay back. All she knew is that she had to be the one to find you alive.
