Chapter 12

Jimin woke up very tired the next morning. The other side beside him was empty. He looked around but Taehyung was nowhere in the room. Fearing he had left without informing him, Jimin was about to get up from bed and grab his phone from the bedside table but Taehyung appeared from the bathroom, a small grin tugging at the edge of his lips.

Jimin sighed with relief but ended up giving Taehyung death looks.

"You scared me. I thought you had left without informing me"

Taehyung sat beside him and stroked away a piece of hair blocking his eyes.

"I would never do that." He whispered and suddenly hugged him. He began to sniff him and Jimin panicked.

"What are you doing?"

Taehyung chuckled. "You smell like me" he whispered.

Jimin giggled softly struggling to wiggle out of Taehyung's arms but the latter wasn't letting him go anywhere.

"How was I?"

Jimin stared at the other boy.

"What?"

"Tell me, how was I? I hope I was good"

A teasing glint sparked in Jimin's eyes.

"You were okay"

Taehyung frowned, lowering his eyes in disappointment. Seeing him like this, Jimin couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"I was only joking with you"

But Taehyung still pouted. He looked so adorably sad Jimin couldn't fight the urge to plant a soft kiss on his lips.

"You were perfect. It was everything I had ever wanted"

Taehyung looked at him and smiled in relief nodding his head but then as if he remembered something, his hold on Jimin loosened as he grew concerned.

"About yesterday, we didn't use protection"

He gulped. "I'm worried that..."

Jimin understood. He had even thought about it the moment he woke up. "I know. We'll go to a pharmacy, and get some drugs. It should be okay"

Taehyung sighed in agreement. The two took a bath together. Hand in hand, they left the motel and had their breakfast at a coffee shop before heading over to a pharmacy store.

The chemist stared at them as they stood in front of him, wearing awkward faces.

"So you know, we want those drugs taken..."

Taehyung cleared his throat, looking uncomfortable. He could hardly speak so Jimin had to talk.

"Contraception pills, please. Contraception pills" he said so fast, he didn't think the chemist heard him but the man did. He grumbled under his breath and brought out a bottle.

"Take it according to the instructions on the label," He said.

They both froze. Did the man somehow figure the pills were actually for Jimin?

but they didn't wait to find out. They were both so embarrassed, that they practically ran out of the pharmacy after paying for the pills. Outside, they found themselves laughing hard after that uncomfortable encounter.

"This is crazy," Taehyung said staring at Jimin with a fond smile before grabbing his hand. Without speaking, they both strolled to the bus station which thankfully was not far from the motel.

When they arrived, the buses going to Seoul and Busan were already boarding. They stood face to face feeling reluctant to part. A sad smile spread across Taehyung's face.
