"That idea is absurd! You, of all people, know that." Yae Miko spat, throwing every word at Raiden Ei, who just looked down in despair. Ei kept silent, avoiding Yae miko's gaze because she was oh-so-sure about her decision.

That decision was "locking herself in the plane of euthymia".

Of course, Yae Miko thought it was a dumb, stupid idea but Raiden Ei needed out, even if Miko doesn't agree, she had already made up her mind. Perhaps this was the farewell that she's able to give Miko if Miko keeps this up.

"Say something! Anything!!-" Yae Miko paused.

"... please, Ei" she continued softly.

"Miko... I need out. Everything feels... heavy. I can't take... this anymore" Ei choked out, barely spitting out words.

"And you couldn't even stay here for us? For me?" Ei could tell that Miko was on a verge of tears, threatening to fall.

Ei knew at that point that she was selfish, along with her making a selfish decision. But she left anyway. Perhaps it was for the sake of all of them. With erosion itself chasing after her, she has no choice but to flee. Flee from reality, possibly for eternity.

A coward that she is, as Miko was begging for her to stay, she turned her heels back and began to walk away towards the Shrine entrance.

She has lost everyone because of her carelessness, she can't afford to lose another, let alone Miko, in the process.

Ei was supposed to give her a better goodbye, did you know? Miko was just making it hard, not that Ei blames her.

For her love of Inazuma, of Yae Miko. She left.
