•i strongly recommend listening to 'head over heels' by tears for fears for this first part if you listen to music while you read :D•
"tommy if you kill me, i swear to god.." i sigh and take the helmet placing it on my head. "i won't kill you, pretty girl. how am i meant to marry you then?" he laughs a bit before placing the helmet on his head aswell.
"just hold on tight, and lean into the turns with me... if you get too uncomfortable just squeeze 3 times alright?" he reassures before turning it on.
as we started to go i was super tense and was holding on for dear life, but riding around felt nice, the breeze and the city looked and felt perfect. i started to loosen up a little bit after tommy grabbed onto my hand that was wrapped around him.
all the turns scared the living shit out of me. i really thought it was endgame when we reached one and shut my eyes so tight when i opened them i saw colors.
"you alive back there?" he checks in at a red light, "trying to be.." i laugh a little bit. "you're okay, we're almost there" tommy rubs my arm in attempt to comfort me.
finally, we park and i swing my leg around to get off the thing. "holy shit." i stand shocked taking the helmet off. "you'll get used to it." he smirks before grabbing my hand and leading me inside.
"what is this place?" i ask lightly, "just a casual little place to eat, and its a bar so we can get drinks! i know you're a picky eater so i make sure to pick the places i know you'll like." he smiles at me.
he picks places he knows i would eat. holy fuck, hes done it.
"two please" he smiles to the waiter as he walks us over to the seats. "ill be right with you guys" the waiter places a smile on his face before walking away.
"where did you learn to play the guitar?" he asks moving the slightly damp hair out of his face. "my dad and i played it a lot, so after he passed i kinda took up on it and learned a shit ton of songs" i smile at him.
"thats really cool, i never knew you played" he smiles back. "yeah"
"what can i get you two to drink?" the waiter walks up with a notepad in his hand. "ill just take a jack and coke" i smile. "ill get the same" tommy chimes in.
"alright" he lends us a smile and walks off.
"what'd you wanna talk about?" tommy asks fiddling with his fingers, he looked a bit nervous. "nono you go first" i sit back in the chair, fixing my hair a bit.
"let's say it at the same time?" he looks up to me. "okay..?" i agree a bit confused with a smile.
"3... 2... 1"
"about our relationship" he blurts out, "about us" i say in sync.
"well that says it" i laugh a bit, nervous as hell. "okay you go on first" tommy waves his hand to me.
"alright, i..." i hesitate a bit, " i was thinking about maybe taking it up another step... and possibly talking about dating..? i just- i really cant expain how much i like you.. or love you- but if not its perfectly fine!! and ill give you your time and space or if you're just not ready for it i understa-" i start to ramble on as he cuts me off with him leaning over the table and pulling me in for a kiss with his hand on my cheek.
