Taeyeon wakes up from her sleep with a light sweat on her forehead. Since earlier, she could sense sharp pain in the lower abdomen of her stomach. After dinner, the pain has slightly reduced, but now she can feel it again.

Her eyes look up to the wall clock that strikes past midnight. She heaves a sigh at the sight of it. More hours to go until it reaches morning, but the deadly sickness in her stomach is unbearable.

It cannot be because of the meals; she was the cook. Her mind then travels silently, trying to remember the last time she had her pms.

No, please, no. Please skip this month.

She quietly whimpers as the cramp becomes sharper. The consistent dull pain that surrounds her stomach forces her to sit up. She then reaches for the bag filled with necessities given by Baekhyun, wishing for the menstrual pads to be in there.

But of course, it doesn't.

She then exhales, trying to relax her mind. The period would usually come after two days she had cramps; she could think about it then.

What's more important now is her stomach. The ache begins to be more sensitive as she can't even sit straight. Shortly, she gets up. Although she cannot stand upright, Taeyeon forces herself to grab a glass of warm water from the kitchen.

That's the least effort she can make to soothe her stomach.

As she slowly turns the doorknob and creaks the door open, she can see Baekhyun's body moves a little, probably disturbed by the noise.

She then slowly steps toward the kitchen, supporting her body weight by walking while leaning against the wall. Not wanting to let any noise out, Taeyeon quietly covers her mouth and tightly grips her shirt.

Soon as she places both of her palms on the kitchen tabletop, Taeyeon can't help but emit a low deep groan. She no longer cares about the loosened, messy hair that falls over her face as she continues looking down.

"Ah, it's so hurt..," Taeyeon whispers to herself in a low voice, almost inaudible.

Without her knowing, a pair of eyes have been watching her from a distance, half-sleepy.

Although it's invisible, a sense of curiosity and uneasiness arises in him when seeing her in that state. When she bends forward as if she is enduring pain, Baekhyun briskly wakes up from his laying position and noiselessly makes steps toward her.

"What's wrong," He utters. As much as it sounds cold, there's a slight worry in his words.

"N-nothing," Taeyeon responds, emitting a long-drawn sigh as she struggles to speak.

"Look at me," says Baekhyun. Seeing sweats all over her skin and her shaky legs as they attempt to stand still, she might faint at any moment.

He might be the most clueless man when it comes to woman, but he surely knows that time like this would come once a month.

Receiving no response, Baekhyun's fingers then travel to her right arm and grip it as he moves her body to face him. He then slightly tucks a strangle of hair behind her ear to see her drawn face.
