Give Your Heart A Break

Jae speeds up his pace into the house when he receives the information. After days of trying to gain Baekhyun's background details as requested by Taejoon, Jae knows how crucial this information would be for their group, especially to save Taejoon's sister.
"Taejoon!" He immediately shouts upon seeing him, "This is important. We should straightly execute a plan."
Hearing the serious tone from Jae, Taejoon immediately puts down his water and sits in front of him, "What is it?"
"Baekhyun," Jae starts constructing his explanation, "Apparently he left the police and joined Karl because he wants to get back on the person who killed his fiancé."
"What do you mean?"
"Police are too slow in their work. He has been waiting for two years but they only managed to gather several proofs and makes no action. Thus, Baekhyun decided to move on his own."
Taejoon nods his head understandingly as that can be quite frustrating. His head quickly scanned through all the victims he had taken their lives before, but none of them appeared to be a woman.
"Do we know his fiancé?"
Jae's breath stops for a while when the question was asked. He slowly heaves a sigh as he mutters, "Ara. Ji-Ho's sister."
And the world immediately fills with another bucket of rage. The familiar name he respects with his whole heart now appears to be the false reason behind all the mess he had to face. Taejoon now knows exactly what is going on. There's no more doubt.
"That fucking manipulator bastard," He cusses, intending for someone he currently holds the deepest grudges in.

Taeyeon finishing up her cooking by swirling the soft tofu stew for one last time before she turns off the stove and scatters the chopped green onions on top of the dish.
Shortly, after she places the stew on the table, Taeyeon almost trip herself mentally as she looks at the amount of food she prepared — the stew, roll eggs, kimchi, japchae, and the stir fried chicken. She was worried on what to cook as she had always prepared the meals for one portion, but guess that wasn't needed at all.
And that brings a heavy sigh out of her lips.
"Are we having a festive."
Out of nowhere, a voice that is mixing with slight tone of enduring pain, jolts her out from the deep thought. Rather than being impressed with the deliciously cooked dishes served in front of him, Baekhyun maintains his uninterested expression and sits by the table.
"Should I keep half dishes for tomorrow's breakfast?" Taeyeon asks with a glint of regret.
"No." Baekhyun says, focusing on plating his rice, "We shall eat everything you've prepared."
He pauses for a moment. That doesn't sound right...
"I don't eat things that is stored overnight. If we can't finish these up, then throw them out."
