The past week was hectic. After Penelope's death, every body seemed to ghost out; like everyone seemed so dead. Every lady in the house thought Penelope was a symbol of survival. Everyone thought that if a girl at Penelope age and a background with no evil can survive, then they can too.

She was my symbol; hope and happiness at the end. Now that's she's gone, some of my happiness and hope left with her.....

"Babydoll. Big daddy wants you." Sliver said.
I rolled my eyes and threw the rag on the table before brush passing her and walked to his office.
"Rude bitch." I heard her say.
I just shrugged it off because I don't have the energy to fight. I walked into his office without knocking, even though he hates it. But I don't really give a fuck.

Big daddy was sitting behind his desk and looking at papers. "Have you ever heard of knocking?"
I rolled my eyes. "Yes but I been in here so many times it's like a second home." I replied with no emotion.
He looked up from his papers. "Do I hear attitude?"
I sighed and put on a fake ass smile. "No big daddy." I mocked Sliver's hoe ass voice.

"Do you know Carl?"
I nod. "He's the guy that lives her now. Everyone knows him."
Big daddy rolled his eyes. "I mean before you arrived here."
I shook my head. "No. I knew a boy name Carl but he's way different from the Carl you're talking about. Why?"

"Are you lying? You know I hate liars."
I shook my head. "Of course not. I would never lie to you big daddy."
He stared at me like he was trying to intimidate me to tell the truth. "Okay." he look back down at his papers. "You're dismissed."
I nod. "Okay." I walked out his office and back into the kitchen where I only see Kayla eating Oreo cookies.

"Hi." I said.
"Hello."
I walked to the sink to finish cleaning. There was silence between us until she broke it. "I'm sorry about Penelope. She seemed like a really sweet girl."
I glanced at her then the dish in my hand. "Yeah, she was."

I turned off the water and wiped my hand with a paper towel before walking up to Kayla like I was going to kiss her. But instead I took the Oreo cookie in her hand before taking a bite. "Bye." I walked out the kitchen and upstairs to my room filled with Penelope lost soul.

I sat on the bed and took out my book I paused on when Penelope first arrived. On the third page of the chapter I was on, Goldie walked into the room looking like shit.
"You look like shit." I kept my eyes on the book.
"You do to."

She's right, I do look a mess.

Goldie flopped on her bed and took out a magazine from 2008. I looked up at her with a confused look. "Why do you keep that?"
She shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe because my favorite actor is on the front."
"Rayan Reynold's?"
She nod and formed a huge smile on her face. "Yeah. He's so sexy and funny."
I shrugged. "I seen better." I mumbled while reading the other page.
She rolled her eyes. "Considering that you like women more that men."

"90% more." I corrected.
"Whatever." Goldie aggressively flipped to the other page.
"He's married now." I said.
She slammed the magazine shut. "Are you serious?"
I nod. "To a blonde. Just like yourself, she mostly played as a slut in some movies and a tv show."
She sighed. "It's better than marrying a actual hoe."
I closed my book. "Goldie you're not a hoe."

"Look around Babydoll. We have sex with different men." She stated.
I shook my head. "Not willing. We get threatened to have sex with different men. That doesn't make you a hoe, it makes you a victim."
I opened my book up to the right page and continued reading. That's when a question popped up in my head. "What's your name? For the past 6 years I never asked for your name, you know my name but I don't know yours."

She smiled. "Heather. Heather Madeline Johnson."
I chuckled. "That's the most whitest name I ever heard."
She rolled her eyes. "Whatever, Isis."
"It's okay Heather. So, how's the weather?" I busted out laughing.
She threw a pillow at me. "Fuck you."

"What y'all laughing about?" Cougar walked into the room.
I wiped the tears that escaped. "Goldie real name is Heather."
Cougar chuckled. "That white ass name."
Goldie rolled her eyes. "You can't be talking, Allison."
Cougar glared at Goldie. "Allison is not worse than Heather, weather."
I tried to hold in my laughs but it wasn't working.

"Shut up Isis?" They said in a unison while glaring at me.
"It's so funny." I stated. "Okay, I'll stop laughing." I cleared my throat to stop laughing, but a smile still was on my face.
Cougar rolled her eyes at me before going into the bathroom.

Later that night I couldn't sleep. I kept staring up at the ceiling and thought about Ronald family like mostly every night since I heard the sudden news. That's when something triggered in my head.
I did the unthinkable and got out of bed to walk on the floor above us.
I knock on their door not so loud nor soft. Seconds later they opened the door and aloud me in.

Carl closed the door before locking it. "What's wrong?"
I took a deep breath. "I need you to send a message to Ronald."
"What kind of message?"
"Can you just say I'm alive and well. You don't have to explain how you know. Can you also include that I love him and I would be by his side again."

Carl nod. "Okay. What did you mean by 'being by his side again'?"
I rub my arms and looked down. "I'm escaping this hell hole."
"When?"
I shrugged. "As soon as possible."
Carl sighed. "It's dangerous."
I nod. "I know, that's why I'm here asking for favors."

"You need money?"
I nod. "And a train ticket. Two train tickets."
"Two?"
"Yes."
"For who? Who is joining you?"
I shook my head. "I can't tell you that. You'll find out the morning after we escape."
He nod. "Okay. Do you need anything else?"

"No." I look at him. "Don't trust anyone."
"Of course." He replied.

I walked to the door and unlocked it before turning to Carl. "Brother from another mother."
He smiled. "Sister from another mister."
We did our little handshake, that was really surprising when we remembered every step.

I walked out his room and across the hall to her door. I lightly knock on her door. Seconds later she opens it and pull me in.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
I smiled and shook my head. "I just wanted to see you."
She smiled and kissed my lips. I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her in some more to deepen the kiss.

She pulled away before it became intimate. "I know you don't have time for this, but I Love You. You don't have to say it back b-"
I cut her off by kissing her lips. "I love you too. I'm leaving."

Kayla makes me so crazy. I never felt this way before with any other female in this mansion. Kayla has a pull on me, she's making me the person I have been hiding for the past 6 years. Every time I see her my heart flutters, my stomach has butterflies and my head is in cloud 9. She's making me crazy, like she has a spell on me. She's what I've been waiting for the longest. She's everything I want. At first I denied because of my issues, but I can't deny it anymore. I'm in love with the woman in front of me and I don't care who I have to tackle down to get to her. Kayla is my weakness and savor.
She's my everything....

"What do you mean?"
I sighed. "I'm escaping."
"How?"
"I'll have a plan, but I'm going to have a extra ticket."
Kayla smiled. "Where ever you go, I go."
I smiled. "Great."

Escaping is back on my to-do list. Now I have to think of a plan by the end of this week. I just broke the second rule in surviving this hell hole. Never fall in Love...

I'm sorry, but I'm thinking about making this story short....
