Chapter 6

Mari's P.O.V.

After that incident with Adrien, I didn't even look at him for the rest of the flight. Not like the rest of the flight was long. The sun was already beginning to rise so I knew that we should be close to the airport. 

It was some time before the lights came on and the pilot came on the inner com.

"Dear passengers, we are going to land in Japan in approximately 10 minutes so I hope you've enjoyed your flight, "with that, he was off and almost everyone was now awake. I looked at Chloe who was in the seat diagonal to mine and to my surprise, she was sleeping on Nino's shoulder. I couldn't help myself, I take out my phone and make sure they were both in the frame then I took a picture. They're going to love this. 

"Hey! Chloe, "I called out her name, making her shoot up and at the same time waking Nino up. "We're about to land in Japan in around 10 minutes, "I said to her and she nodded.

Skip to when they have just left on their bus ride to UA and the trio was sitting once again in the very back of the bus away from the others

"Uuuugh! Adrien is getting worse, "I groaned in annoyance as I laid back in the seat.

"How so Mari, "Chloe asked as she put her phone down.

"Ok, so near the beginning of the plane flight, he dared to say that I like him and that he asked to hold my hand because he thought I was scared, "I rolled my eyes, remembering the moment.

"Why would he do that? I thought he was 'so in love with Lie-la', "Nino imitated with a dramatic tone. Which got a laugh out of me and Chloe.

"Nice Blind Boy imitation Nino. Maybe you should be an actor instead of a DJ, "Chloe commented and I swear I saw a bit of blush on Nino's cheeks. Though it disappeared not long after.

"Blind Boy, "Nino looked at both of us, completely confused and I giggle at his response.

"Blind Boy is the name our group gave Agreste because of how dense he is, "I explained as I recall that memory.

Flashback
Mari and the gang were hanging out on the hotel's rooftop, eating some ice cream

"-and he didn't even realize I was in love with him, "I exclaimed as I threw my arms up in the air in disbelief.

"You're telling me that he couldn't even use one of his brain cells to put obvious clues together to find out you were in love with him, "Kagami says, taking in a spoon of her ice cream.

"Yup, he is that blind, "Chloe chimed in with an unamused tone.

"Wow. He really is a blind boy, "Luka chuckled, wrapping his arm around Kagami.

"Hey, good nickname! It suits him perfectly, "I say. I was feeling at ease once again. I love the moments when I don't have to put up a persona in front of certain people.

End of flashback

"Hmm, sounds about right, "Nino hummed and he stared outside the window with his headphones on. I wonder if I should tell him about my identity. I mean I've asked Tikki if I can trust him not to betray me and she said that she wasn't able to feel an evil aura from him. So perhaps with a little time, I'll know if I can tell him.

I also need to talk to Chloe about my weird dreams at one point. I mean, she's my best friend and we know practically everything about each other and she might be able to know what they mean. Suddenly I remember the picture I took of them on the plane.
