May 21st, Saturday

"Y/n! Wake up! Silas is ready for you!" My mom screamed, waking me up. I quickly checked the time on my phone.

It read 10:31, meaning I had thirty minutes to get ready. I shook izuku awake, and he sat up quickly, after I stood up and ran to the closet to get my bathing suit.

"Can you swim in baseball shorts? If not we can stop at Walmart real quick!" I said through the closet door to the half asleep boy. I heard him groan a bit and open some drawers.

"I packed my swimsuit." His morning voice was deep, and raspy. My breath caught in my throat, as I slid the bottom of the swimsuit on. Though, there wasn't time to gawk over the boy and his attraction level.

I put my hair in a clip, and grabbed my black Fanny pack that wrapped around my shoulder. My swimsuit was green, like Izuku's hair. I remember I picked it the day after starting to watch My Hero Academia.

I walked out of the closet after throwing my suimsuit cover on, and sliding my sandals on. The boy sat on my bed, eyes closed, and sporting green suim trunks. My heart pulsed at the thought of us matching.

"Hey Y/n, why are we going swimming?" He opened his eyes, and looked me up and down. Though my swim suit wasn't to be seen yet. I made sure to pick the one I knew would impress him.

"I promised my moms best friends son I would take his shift today as a lifeguard cause he's busy." I sighed, and rubbed some sunscreen on my face. I threw the bottle at Izuku, and he applied some too.

I grabbed my phone, the pool bag, and I had Izuku jump out of the window. Doing things with him was much nicer than doing things alone. He was the only person in the world that didn't bother me somehow.

In fact, everything he did made me laugh, or feel something good. I never felt annoyed, or angry towards him, like I did most people.

"Love you mom!" I filled up a big cup of coffee for Izuku, and grabbed the pool key. I rushed out before my mom could say anything about the fact that I don't drink her coffee cause I think it's gross.

"Here, drink this." I gave the green haired boy his coffee, when I met him in the back yard, then started walking towards the pool.

"Oh my this is nasty!" Izuku says from behind me, getting a chuckle out of me, because the coffee really is bad. I shrug, "drink it or you'll stay half asleep."

He sighed, and chugged the cheep coffee, then burped like super loud, to which I giggled and opened the pool with the key, and checked in the employee locker with Silas's card.

"You can just swim or whatever, we have to be here for 7 hours so APPLY SUNSCREEN EVERY 30 MINUTES!" I screamed, and pulled off the green swim cover I had on, and pulled the lifeguard float over my head.

Izuku looked up, while rubbing more sunscreen on his shoulders, and looked me up and down, his eyes widening a bit. Im still not sure if the look was of disgust, or excitement, but I don't dare wonder. I'd like to think it was of excitement, I could be wrong though.

I grabbed the whistle, and climbed up the chair, ready to do the worlds easiest job. Why silas complained so much about it is beyond me.

After pushing my turquoise green sun glasses on, I looked down at the Saphire colored pool. The small ripples looked like little diamonds, due to the sun.

Though, the pool was much prettier with him in it. The freckled boy, who floated on his back, with a big smile on his face. His hair floated back into the water, and his eyebrows were a little messed up.

His eyes were scrunched shut, and his lips curled more and more into a smile with each stroke of his arm. The grin mirrored onto my face, giving me the same stupid grin.

"You're staringgggg!" He yelled, making me look away quicker than a dog runs when it smells fresh bacon.

"I am not, dumbass." I sighed, and slouched a small bit in the tall chair. He swam to the edge of the pool and leaned his muscular arms on the concrete, smiling up at me.

"Whatever you say! Hey when are you gonna come swim?!" He asked, loud enough for me to hear, but not to loud that the other pool guests looked.

"I don't know if you can see the children, but it's my job today to watch them, I can't swim today!" I shouted back, and blew the whistle at a young girl in a Minnie Mouse swim-suit, who was running.

Izuku watched as the girl turned and smiled after I yelled, "no running, sweetheart!" She walked off, slowly, and I turned back to him, "see?"

He huffed, and nodded, "okay okay, but what if I were to drown?" He smirked, and went back onto his back, floating away.

I scoffed, and sipped my water-bottle. You'd think he'd be more timid and well—a softie— due to the way he's portrayed in the anime.

That was all incorrect, yeah he was still him, the sweet little guy, but he was much sassier, in person, and actually had a sense of sarcasm. I think I liked this Izuku better. Maybe it's cause he was there, with me.

It was 7:00, we had just an hour until we were able to leave, and I looked back down to the now empty pool, unable to find the one person left in the swimming—Izuku.

I looked around quickly, left to right, over and over, "IZUKU!?" I screamed, I hoped he got out or something.

Fuck that, I wasn't taking any chances. I threw the floaty off my shoulder, and into the water, then dove in after. The fear was shown in the goosebumps that were felt on my back.

I jumpedout of the water, and looked around aimlessly, until I heard his annoying, ear burning voice, "Uh what are you doing?" Izuku Midoriyia, the so called hero in training asked.

My face went straight, as I slowly turned around, and wiped the tears out of my eyes. His eyebrow raised, and I swam to the edge, and started climbing out, he offered me his hand, and I took it gladly, pulling him into the pool without warning.

The results weren't much of a difference, he was already wet from 6 hours of swimming, but I still enjoyed it.

"You scared the fuck out of me."
