Embarrassing. That was nothing but embarrassing.

Why'd I say it out-loud? That was supposed to be a thought that stayed in.my.head. Izuku started at me questionably, and my eyes went wide.

"Did you say oh my god? What happened?" The curiosity he always seemed to cary in his voice never failed to impress me. He was so good at being curious.

I wasn't about to tell him I was saying oh my god because of his jawline, so I made up a quick lie, a harmless lie.

"I thought a road got changed, it didn't." My voice was much higher than it should have been.

"But you were looking at me?" Shut your mouth right now. I just shrugged him off and turned up the radio.

"Welp!" I yelled over the music, then started dancing with my hands still on the steering wheel.

When we got back to my house, I snuck him in through the window, and then went and parked the car back in the garage.

There was a certain thrill to sneaking around. It was fun. He was fun.

I went through the Garage door to my house, and put the ice-cream we got at the store in the freezer.

The house felt..empty? It was really quiet. I looked around, and found a few major things missing. Bens black Nikes weren't at the door like they always were, his medicine pills weren't on the counter, and his jacket wasn't in the closet when I opened it.

Is he gone? Was all I could think with Joy. I wished for so long that he would leave, that it would be just me and mom.

I always knew mom could support me by herself. She had a full time job, and the house was payed off. She was a independent woman who didn't need Bens garbage, and I was glad she finally saw that for herself.

I ran up the stairs, into my moms bedroom. She sat on her bed, reading a book, with the glossiest face I had ever seen on her. She was smiling, and this time it wasn't a fake one.

She had a robe, and a green face mask on that made her look like she was in a spa. She was finally taking care of herself.

"Mom?" She looked up at me, and her smile went larger than before, I'm sure the look on my face asked, 'is he really gone?' Because all she did was nod, and I ran to her in tears.

"He comes to get the rest of his shit tomorrow." Never. Had I ever heard my mom say a cuss word, I giggled and nodded in her chest.

She pulled away and kissed me on the cheek, "Now scram, they are finally getting somewhere in my romance novel!" She chuckled, and I did as she said, leaving her to herself.

I could tell she had a weight lifted off her shoulder letting him go, and I didn't want to make it about me, but me as well.

I walked into my room and Izuku sat on the bed watching Death Note. He didn't hear me open the door, and all I could do was lean against my doorway and watch him with a grin.

He was so cute when he was invested in something. Especially my favorite anime.

I ran and pounced on the bed beside him, making him chuckle, and scoot over to give me some room, and lifted the blanket for me to lay under. I smiled and scooted closer, closing the already close proximity between us.

Instead of the pillow, I leaned my head on his shoulder. He looked down into my eyes, and grinned.

"But you don't like me, right?" he mumbled.

Maybe you like me too Izuku Midoryia.

"Maybe I do." He shrugged—wait DID I SAY THAT OUT-LOUD?!

"You sure did!" He chuckled. STOP I DID IT AGAIN. I mentally passed out, not wanting to be in this predicament any longer.

"Wait- did you just say 'maybe I do'?" I asked, pulling up from his shoulder, and looking into his eyes. My voice was as high as a dogs toy. He grinned and looked back at the Tv.

"I don't know, did I?" He asked, and looked back into my eyes. The boy knew damn well what he was doing, and I loved it.

The energy in the room changed the longer our eyes stayed on each other, like a lock you couldn't  find the key too.

He leaned closer to me, causing me to shudder at the intensity of his warmth.

"Y/NNNN!!! Come get lunch!!" I sighed, our moment being disrupted yet again. How many times would I not get his kiss?

I pulled away slowly and walked to the door, "I'll bring you food." He exhaled and made a humming sound.

My disappointment followed me to the kitchen where my mom stood in her robe and handed me a plate that contained soup and a salad, I sat at the table with her, and we ate, talking about the things we would normally converse about.

She didn't bring up Ben once, which was quite weird, but nice, it was very refreshing to be able to talk to her without the annoying restraint of Bens presence.

When we both finished I snuck up a plate to my room, and hoped this time I wouldn't get interrupted by fire trucks, or my mom.

There izuku sat on my bed, his face was all scrunched together as he focused on the wall. It looked like he was trying to send some sort of negative message to the wall?

"Izuku..?" I asked, slowly walking closer to him, and looking at the wall to see if he was staring at anything in particular.

He looked from the wall to me quickly, then down to the plate I held in my hand, and back into my eyes.

Then we stood up? He was being weird, and I set the plate down, then looked back to him.

"Are you-"

His lips collided with mine, so quickly I couldn't even comprehend it.

His lips..on mine.

He kissed me.
