Chapter 1 District 2

BEEP BEEP BEEP I hear my alarm go off. It's a nice day in d2. I wake up and get dressed. Hi my name is Finch crossley and this is my story.
I go down stairs and there is my parents and my sister Dove. Dove is 5 and I am 8. After breakfast I go outside to my friends house. He lives right next door. His name is Marvel. I have known him since birth. My other neighbors are Cato and Clove. "Hey guys ready to go to school?" I asked them , "Yeah, let's go," said Marvel. When we got to school the day went by so fast. Before I knew it I was walking home. When I got inside I saw my parents on the couch and they told me to come sit down. "Honey we have some bad news" they said "w- what is it?" I asked " well honey we are moving to district five" they told me "WHAT NO I CANNOT LEAVE MY FRIENDS" I yelled and ran up to my room and started to pack. Just then I heard a knock at my window. It was Marvel. " Finch you ok?" " No, I am moving to District 5," I told him. He had a sad look on his face " oh well I am moving also I am going to district 1" he said. At least he gets to go to a nice district. Right before I closed my window he said something I will never forget. "Oh and Finch I love you" what he loved me I had feelings for him but I did not know if he felt the same "me to Marvel me to" I said I could see his face light up. Before I knew it I was going on a train to district 5.
