Chapter 6 The Games

I go to the tubes and take one final breath before I see the arena. When I open my eyes All I see are trees and an ocean and huge mountains then I see the cornucopia and a timer counting down from ten, 10, look at your surroundings, 9, Don't go to the cornucopia, 8, NEVER NIGHTLOCK, 7 find a safe place to run to, 6, do not be super noticeable, 5, do not start a campfire, 4, remember your family, 3, Find Marvel, 2, Find Marvel, 1, Find Marvel. Just like that I run off into the woods and run until I find the right tree to climb. The branches seem sturdy enough so I start to climb that's when someone taps me and I knew it was marvel, "Finch are you ok" "yeah I'm doing ok, did you already kill Glimmer and Katniss" "Yup they were are first victims" "perfect lets go find Cato and Clove"
As soon as we find them we show each other what we got. Clove got a couple of knives,dried fruit,night vision goggles, and water purifier tablets, Cato got two swords, dried fruit, and a water canaster, Marvel got, a spear, a knife, dried fruit, and bread, I got, a bow and arrow, dried fruit, night vision goggles, and water. After about 1 hour of cannons and blood it got dark. We looked up in the sky to see the fallen.Glimmer:d1, both of d3, Elle:d6, both of d7, Luke:d10, and Peeta d12. I was shocked when I saw Peeta up there I thought he would be with katniss but I guess not. As soon as it finished we heard a noise from a bush.We looked around and it was katniss Everdeen. "Well we'll well if it isn't little d12 Katniss" Clove said sarcastically. "Why don't I make this easier I kill you and then you don't suffer" I said. I gave her no second thought and killed her. But then I almost broke down crying. I killed someone me killing a human being, but I tried to shake it off and get some sleep.
     The next day it was sunny and humid so we found a near by lake to fill our water up. Once we got there we saw someone, it was a d6 boy Jason I believe. Clove sneaked up behind him and killed him but I could not watch.We spent the rest of the day wandering around looking for people when we came across the district 4 boy. We made him our allay and he set up land mines he then showed us how to do it. Then out of nowhere d4 girl Jane came running up to us knife in hand but then stepped on a land mine and blew up all the food. Out of a fit of rage Cato snapped d4 neck and he was dead. 3 people in one day what has happened to me I thought. We are now down to 12. We all went in to a big tree and fell asleep. I was awakened to the sound of cannons, 7 of them so that means it's only 5 people left I look up to see all the people and thresh is the only person left. We go out looking for him and when I finally found him Cato killed him. Now it was just us the final for we're the four of us. I had a plan it was risky but I hoped it worked. " we all take nightlock and eat it" I said "ARE YOU CRAZY NO WAY" screamed clove. " No we start to put it in our mouth and then they will stop because they need a victor don't they" so then we all tried."3...2...1" put start to put them in our mouth I can smell the sweet but poisonous justice of the berry. "STOP,Stop, we have our victors, Cato Hadley, Clove Kentwell, Finch Crossley, And Marvel Charleston. We did it now we could go home to hour family and I could be with my friends and marvel. The hovercraft brought us up and into the capitale our new life was just getting started.
