Chapter 8- The Party

Porchaya's POV

The moment my brother mentioned Mr. Kinn's birthday, I didn't realize I could get another chance to meet P'Kim one more time. I was overjoyed when I realized I could meet him again there. So, I said okay to come to Mr. Kinn's Birthday party. P' Porche has mentioned that it would be on a cruise ship. Will people celebrate their birthdays on cruise ships too? I don't have any idea about that. This is going to be my first experience at a cruise ship birthday party. I was roaming in the same excitement for the next three days.

I walked aimlessly from my school to my home. Some honking of two-wheelers was heard from afar. I didn't realize that it was the same two-wheeler sound that bothered me for the past two months. He was a transfer student. I knew him through my friend, Tong. Tong and I were friends from the middle school. He introduced him (the devil) to me.

At first, we were been a great friend, but as time went on, his friendship was toxic. I don't know how to avoid him.

He is P' Wang. He moved here to Thailand from Korea. At first, I was very interested in talking to him, because I am an open-minded person, I like to interact with people of different ethnicities and different cultures and I would encourage myself to be friends with such people.

But this friendship was a mistake I guess. One event that made me guilty for being his friend was he was bullying me literally.

His activities seem fun to the spectators, but he intended to hurt people. I was randomly called by names that were too harsh to be called for a person.

"P' wang", that is what I said when I met him. He landed just before me from his bike and cut me before.

"Hey Pussy, I have not seen you in the school, where were you?", he asked me.

"I was in the school the whole time.", I replied to him.

"Oh, Don't you want to come and see my face my dear Darling? ", he asked.

I didn't reply anything to him. Why is he talking like he is my lover and wants to see me every day? I don't like to see him. Just a few more steps and I would reach my home and then there would be no problem. I want to walk as fast as possible and reach my home to get rid of him.

"P' Wang then I will leave, my house came.", I said and tried to escape from him. I walked as fast as possible from him.

"Porchaya!!", someone called.

P'Jom was standing in front of our house. Why would he be here? I eyed Wong and left to meet P' Jom.

"P' Jom what are you doing here?", I asked P' Jom.

"I left my assignment papers here when I last came here. Since the due for the assignment was tomorrow I remembered that it was here and I wanted to take it from here. So, I came.", he said.

"Okay come in.", I called him inside. He took his papers and left home and he had been my saving angel from Wang for today.

I got a message from Porche stating the address of the cruise ship port. I want to reach there by 6:00.

I took the best shirt of mine and wore it for the event. I was at the particular spot at the particular time that P'Porche had messaged me.

"Porchaya!! Here. You look stunning in this dress.", my brother commented on looking at me.

"Thank you. You too.", Porche seemed so different than usual. He was looking handsome today. He seemed to have done facial and all because he was so bright. Or maybe he was more excited about his boss's birthday.

"Okay let's board the ship. It will set out soon.", he said. And we were boarding into a great ship of about the size of Titanic. Ok, maybe I am exaggerating. But it was a huge ship.

All I came here was to see P'Kinn's brother P' Kim. "So, P'Porche are all the members that we have seen at the mall the other day will be here today?", I asked.

"Yess. P'Khun and my colleague, Pete everyone will be there.", he said.

He had missed out on the important name that I wanted. "Will P'Kim be there?", I asked.

"Yeah. Maybe, I am not sure.", he said. It broke my heart. I was here only for one reason, that I would meet Kim here. But if he is not going to be here, then my presence here would be wasted.

"Ok", I said with a sullen face.

We entered the top roof, we saw the whole view of the water. The party was a big arranged event, many people were there. I don't know many, no no, I don't know any here.

"Okay stay here, I will see Mr. Kinn and I will join you.", he said and left me.

"Sir drinks?", a waiter asked me.

"No", I said. I am not even legal age to drink; then how could he ask me that?

I wandered around the food section and saw many mouth-watering foods. And took a bite of each tasty food.

"Porche brother. It is so glad to see you here. I am very happy.", A very familiar high-pitched voice asked me.

I turned back to witness P'Khun and I saw P'Pete following him. "Swadee ka P'Khun", I wished.

"How are you doing?", he asked.

"I am fine P' Khun", I said.

"Okay, the event will begin soon. Before that come let us do karaoke in the karaoke room", he called me.

"Please come. P'Pete will also join us.". P'Khun insisted on me holding my hands.

No, I won't come. But this man is making a pleading eye that I cannot ignore. He seems he won't leave me.

"Okay. I will come.", I said.

We went to a room, which had a perfect ambience of Karaoke. He took the mike and started to sing a song. I am quite familiar with songs because I am so passionate about music.

But I cannot resist him singing. He was a horrible singer but, don't know how P 'Pete was enjoying his voice. He gave the mike to me and asked me to sing along a solo song.

I sang 'ka chu kimi chu song'. I knew its lyrics by heart. While singing, the one thing I was sure of was I was not in my state of consciousness and I didn't realize who came there until I opened my eyes to see, P'Kim.

I don't know how long he has been standing there. And I saw the faces of P'Pete and P'Khun. Both of them were awe-struck with my song. P'Khun came and hugged me. "You got a beautiful voice. How does Porche have a brother who has this much sweet voice?", he complimented.

"Thanks", I blushed.

"Aye Kim! What are you doing here?", P"Khun asked.
