Story Time with Blank - Beauty & The Beast Part 1

"Alright everyone, gather 'round!" A very hyper bubblegum-haired girl chirped, holding a large book in her hands. The Fairy Tail guild members murmured amongst each other in confusion. "I am here on the strict order of a judge's trial hearing for the constant destruction caused by Fairy Tail. Apparently he thought it'd be funny to make the owner of a local library read the members of Fairy Tail a bunch of fairy tales."

"What?! That's ridiculous!" Erza Scarlet shouted. The girl's hair turned a dark red, which prompted her to hiss at Titania. "SHUSH. Now, because I agree with the judge I brought my copy of the Brothers' Grimm Fairy Tales. However, one condition of the judge's was that the members of Fairy Tail must take the place of the characters."

"Oh no..." Gray Fullbuster mumbled.

"Oh don't worry, I'll just be changing the names in the fairy tales to your names." The girl smiled, her hair shifting back to the original bubblegum colour. "Anywho, because most of the Brothers' Grimm fairy tales consist of romance, I consulted my OTP coach, Mira, who suggested I start with GaLe." A hand went up. "And no asking what GaLe is! You'll find out in the story!" The hand promptly went down.

"Oh, and my name is Blank everyone. Now, the story I choose for today is Sleeping -- wait, that's next week's. This week's is Beauty and the Beast." Blank grinned evilly.

Oh my god this girl is crazy. The members of Fairy Tail immediately thought. Blank opened the book, and smiled. "Once upon a -- Oi! Someone wake Natsu up!" Erza gave Natsu a shove, jolting him upwards. "I'm up, I'm up!"

~Anything in italics beyond this point are people interrupting the story and the narrator scolding them. And threatening to hit them with a book.~

Once upon a time there was a castle. And in that castle was a violent, short-tempered prince. One stormy day, an old widow knocked on the door looking for shelter. "Dear sir, it is raining and I need a dry place to stay for the night. Might I trouble you for a room?" The old lady asked.

"Hell no. Do I look like a fucking innkeeper? No, so get the hell off my property you old hag." The prince snarled.

"Sounds like Gajeel." Jet and Droy muttered. Said dragon slayer growled at their general direction.

"SHHHHH! I'm tellin' a story here!" Blank glared at them, her hair changing colour again.

"OLD HAG?! OLD HAG?!" The old widow shouted, throwing her cloak off dramatically. "APPEARANCE REQUUP: ORIGINAL FORM!" A bright light engulfed the widow, before it faded, revealing an attractive red-headed woman in sparkly silver armor with wings. "MY NAME IS ERZA SCARLET YOU STUPID FOOL! I AM CALLED TITANIA THE ENCHANTRESS!"

The prince became suddenly fearful and mesmerized by her beauty. "P-Please spare me, oh great Titania the Enchantress!"

Guild members snicker. Blank glared. "Shut up and let me at least get past the damn prologue!"

"Sorry!" They shouted while scooting away.

However, Erza the Enchantress had to punish the prince for calling her an old hag. So she thought of the perfect punishment. "Cold, heartles, violent, short-tempered prince, I have to punish you or you will never learn from your mistake. Your punishment is this - you shall be transformed to match your beastly ways, however," Her eyes searched around before she grinned mischeviously and plucked a rose from the ground. It didn't prick her, for she was magical. "You will not be able to return to your original form until you fall in love and that person loves you back."

"Seems easy enough." The prince commented. Behind him, Mirajane the maid facepalmed. You never say that to a magical being. Ever. Erza grinned ever-so-evilly. "Easy you say?"

"Oh shit." The prince grumbled. Erza cackled and thunder shot down behind her for effect. "HOWEVER, YOU HAVE UNTIL THE LAST ROSE PETAL FALLS TO FIND TRUE LOVE!" More thunder cracked behind her.

"Hey! I don't want to be the only one that's cursed!" The prince shouted. Erza sighed. "Ugh, fine. All of your servants shall be transformed into objects commonly found in a castle. They too, are subject to your curse." And with a flash, the prince and his staff were transformed. The enchantress disappeared in a pinch, before magically returning momentarily.

"Oh, and I forgot to mention; if you don't find a girl or guy or whatever it is you're into by the time the last petal falls, you're all stuck like this forever." She deadpanned before leaving again.

"SAY WHAT?!" The prince's staff turned to him with super-pissed glare and screams of pains could be heard from the window.

"Okay, I'm done with the prologue." Blank said. The guild (minus Mira and Makarov) sighed in relief. "Now onto the first chapter which is longer than the prologue!" Blank exclaimed, earning groans from the group. The haircolour-changing girl laughed loudly and mischeviously.
