Forever and always - mason mount

Chapter 1- party

I was woken up by my phone ringing. I patted the bed looking for it until I managed to grip it. I pressed the green answer button and placed it against my ear. "Hello?" I asked groggily. "Lia have you only just woke up?" I head my best mate Jaz's voice through the phone. "Yea why should i be awake?" I ask visibly confused. "It's the classic mount summer party today. e.g your birthday celebration." She said in a duh tone. "Crap yes I'll be there soon Jazzy to help." I say quickly jumping out of bed. Jaz laughed, "yep okay, remember your outfit for tonight we are getting ready together." "Yes I know I'm not that bad" I replied. "Yea yea, anyway I need to go mum wants me to help. Love ya." She said before she ended the call. Rude bitch didn't even let me answer. I rolled my eyes to myself, before going to the bathroom to jump in the shower. Once I was out I pulled my hair into a messy pony knowing it will be in the way in any other style and shoved on any clean clothes that looked presentable. I pulled my dress for tonight from the hanger and put in my bag with my hair straighteners and makeup knowing if I forgot anything I could just nick it from Jaz. I went downstairs, where it was empty due to my mum and dad were both at work due to being doctors. I wrote them a note saying where i was and that they were invited later even though I knew they wouldn't come due to their early shifts. I also didn't want them to come. As much as they were my parents and I was proud of their jobs, they never spent time with me and expected me to be a nurse. They were so tough on me it was no wonder I was closer with the mounts. I jumped in my car and set off down the road to my best mates house. The Mounts were basically my second family. I sent more time with them than my own parents and I grew up with Jaz like a sister more than a friend. Once I got there I parked outside over their drive knowing they wouldn't care. I got my bag and walked straight into the house without knocking. "Hey family!!" I shouted once I was inside. They would know who it was. "Argh not you again" I heard a cheeky voice behind me. I turned around to be met with Tony. I laughed, "hey big T." I said before running away knowing he hated it when I called him that. "I'll get you child!!" He shouted before he was shouted at by Debbie, "Tony!! Don't be mean to her it's her birthday!!" "It's not her birthday until tomorrow don't give me that" he replied as he watched me run into Debbie's open arms. "Hey mummy mount." I said to her. "Hey princess." This had always been Debbie's nickname for me as when I first met Jaz in nursery I told them I wanted to be a princess when I was older. "Are you excited for this party?" She asked me when I opened a kitchen cupboard looking for food. I nodded, "I am, as long as you do a shot with me?" I asked Tony when he walked through the door. He laughed, "don't look at me kiddo." We all laughed until we heard Jaz shout from the garden, "am I the only one trying to set up here?" I laughed at her angry tone before walking out toward her. "Hey babe I'm here." She huffed, "good, this is your party not mine" I looked at her dead in the eyes before we both started laughing. "But I'm being serious get your ass to work."
2 hours later
"Finally, I thought you were going to make me redo that again." I said to Jaz when she finally said my presentation of beer pong was good. She rolled her eyes at me and smiled, "I'm just trying to make it perfect for you." I laughed and walked over to her and pulled her into a hug, "thank you Jazzy." She pushed me away, "how many times have I told you not to call me that!" She scolded me. "Oooh cat fight" I heard a familiar voice from behind me. I spun around to be met with Mason. One of Jazs older brothers who was the most gorgeous man I had ever met. "We wasn't fighting dickhead." Jaz said to him. He rolled her eyes at her reaction and smirked at me. Everyone in this family knew I liked mason. It was kind of a running joke. "Hey lils." He said to me in a cocky tone. He was the only one allowed to call me lils and he knew it. "Hey Mase." I said, "when did you get back?" I asked. "Last night, couldn't miss your party now could I? Took you long enough to turn 18" he joked. I laughed, "tell me about it." I stared into his eyes not being able to pull myself away from his chocolate coloured eyes. I was broke out my trance when Jaz grabbed my wrist. "We need to start getting ready." She said as she started to pull me away. "You do Jaz, lils doesn't need makeup." Mason said form behind us. "Oh shut up!" Jaz called down the stairs. I turned to look at him quickly smiling at him as a thanks. He just nodded his head as if he didn't compliment me. This is why he was confusing. He knew how to play my feelings. "Your drooling" Jaz stated when we got to her room. I rolled my eyes, "oh shush let's just get ready." She was right. Mason amazed me. Not just his looks but his whole personality. However I knew he was off limits. Jaz had made me promise when she found out I liked him. This was because I knew she was scared I would pick him over her like everyone else did as he's a footballer. That's what made things hard. As we got ready we played ABBA and sung our hearts out. A birthday tradition for us. That was until mason opened jazs door and shouted at us, "people are arriving now." I nodded letting him know that I had heard him and he left the room quickly. "Jazzy let's go people are here." She nodded and we went downstairs where everyone cheered and sung happy birthday to me. I laughed and shouted, "let's get this party started!!" That was it the party was underway. "Jaz can you take a photo of me with this?" I asked her. She nodded and we sat there for ages trying to get the right one.

Birthday night sesh!!

2 hours later
I was drunk. That's how I found myself sat in the garden looking at mason with his friends. I needed a distraction so walked inside to get another drink. That was until it was taken out of my hand. I turned around wanting to shout at whoever did it to be met with mason. "You don't need anymore!" He shouted over the music. I scoffed, "who are you to tell me what to do" I said to him angry that he had ruined my fun. We looked into each other's eyes before he pushed some of my messy hair behind my ear. "I care about you lils, I don't want you taken advantage off" he said justifying his reason. I nodded, "I know Mase, I'm sorry." He smiled at my apology. It felt like nobody else was in the room and that's how it happened. Maybe it was the drink making me feel confident but I leaned in and pressed my lips onto his. If he was surprised he didn't show it, instantly putting his hand on the back of my head and deepening the kiss. I pulled away, "we can't, I can't do it to Jaz." I said without looking into his eyes. He nodded, "we shouldn't but we can" I was shocked and liked at him. He was smiling at me, "we don't have to lils but I want to, I really want to." That's all it took for me to be pulling him up to his room. When we got in there he instantly shut the door and locked it. I raised my eyebrows at him. He shrugged, "I dont want the best night of your life to be ruined by any interruptions." He said cockily. Oh god that was hot. I almost ran to him to press my lips to his. It got heated very quickly and between each kiss Mase said, "we" "never" "speak" "of" "this" I nodded. We couldn't no matter how much that hurt me.
Later
Once we had finished Mase stood up and started getting changed. "As I said we can bet speak of this, I have a girlfriend and I'm happy with Chloe." He said to me. I nodded, "so happy you cheat on her with your little sisters best friend yea?" I asked sarcastically before letting myself out of his room. I slammed the door and went into the bathroom to sort myself out. Once I was prepared I went downstairs. I downed a drink and went to find Jaz. "Lia here you are!! Where was you? Or should I say who was you with?" She asked me with a wink. My eyes widened. I knew I had been caught. "Umm I can't remember his name." I shouted. "I'm to drunk I didn't ask." She nodded and laughed and I took a deep breath. I hadn't messed up. "Do you know where my brother went? Dec can't find him" she then asked. My heart started pounding. "Umm i think he went to speak to Chloe? I'm not sure I havent seen him in a while" I said. She nodded, "probably he's obsessed over that girl" she laughed. Even though it shouldn't my heart broke. "Let's get drunk Jazzy!! I only turn 18 once" I shouted. This was the only way to get over it. I would 100% regret this I'm the morning.
