Tall majestic buildings, their colour pallet reflecting their purity, symbolic to those who choose to pray along with it, in hopes the building thrives over their life time. A sacred structure, keeping the holy nature of the arts of religion close. Close to their hearts. And I am located in the centre of the heart. In the Favonious Chapel.

I had been placed onto a pristine marble counter, filled with sharp syringes and medical equipment. Overshadowed by a large glass-stained window behind me, dawn cascading gracefully down my back, mix-matched colours hitting my skin, pigmenting it even more. The sun ever so slightly faded into an unknowing night whilst I was waiting still; this could possibly answer all of my problems in one sitting.

A burnt orange to an amber hue dusted the sides of my figure, creating a visible outline of my aura behind me, it gave me a sense of relaxation: even though I had blood dripping from my leg and this mess of a belt Kaeya had fastened onto me, it had slackened during the agonising hobble here, which wasn't as pleasant as it seemed.

"Which room is she in?" A small, gentle voice araised my suspicion, the tiny pitter-patter of her footsteps matched her complexion as she stepped under the archway to the space I was in. "Are you [Y/n]?" a tender, forgiving smile crept onto her face as she set sight on what state I were in. The whole city may as well see me in shambles before I leave at this point.

Aquamarine eyes, piercing softly into me, observing me, judging if I had commented sins. Her hair, a shock of shimmering platinum, attacked my soul, I'm convinced her hair in itself, is that pure, it attends the church service as it's own individual. Even her outfit struck church girl...

"No time to waste!" She struck, in my eyes, an embarrassing pose, hand next to her face, and whipped out this book. Plated a pale blue around its edges, clearly worn down, after its uses. Titled, 'Barbara's Magic,' so- she must be Barbara and a... magician? She looks like a Lucy but whatever, not everything can go my way I guess.

I adjusted to fully face in her direction, but as I were turning, I swear to Barbatos I saw a man peering through the window...

"So you're [Y/n]! Kaeya told me a bit about you when he came to fetch me! I've already got my first impression of you and I think that you're a good egg!" She winked at me, rolled her white, untouched sleeves up a tad, revealing a little white, dainty, pearl bracelet, dangling on her wrist, with a locket attached to it. It was probably not meant to be open, but I can't help myself. As she offered for my hand, to check my pulse, I leaned forward and set sight on her and a much older woman in the locket, she's got blonde hair too, slicked back, she just looked like the definition of professional, whoever she is, I wouldn't mind meeting her, that's for sure.

A little time had passed, my pulse had been checked and it was abnormally low, so she had to put me onto a drip. God knows if those two things are connected, heck I'm no genius, so I haven't a clue what she's been writing down over the past half an hour. But I haven't spoke a single word, I was going to when she walked in, but she said to me when I was about to open my mouth- not to speak. So, here I am, not speaking. I've never been this awkward, screw the Kaeya Interview earlier, this is a bit... It's just keeping me on edge.

"Hey Barbara, I know I'm not supposed to speak but about the blood falling from my leg?" I mustered up the courage to ask her about the crimson liquid slowly dripping and forming a puddle underneath us.

She rolled her eyes, "I told your that you mustn't speak! Goodness, [Y/n], now I've got to use my catalyst." My eyes just peered into her, staring blankly. "You look confused, as to why and what that is. So in a nutshell, this hilichurl you got attacked by must've had venom on its claws, because when I walked in, your leg, the veins were perfectly visible, they had a green tinge to them, that's why I didn't want you talking, because it speeds the poison around your veins more quickly! And my catalyst, it has spells and such, two sections, for my fighting," I threw her an odd stare, because I for one didn't expect her of all people to 'fight'? "and my medical work! So this might make you a bit loopy and drowsy, just to pre-warn you,"
