𝓨/𝓷 POV-
Last night I slept at Ambers house yet again, Eula told me that I really need to find a way to make money and move out, I don't think she's fond of me.

Overall we had a good time, even if she hates me, she's willing to feed me because Eula cooks the most amazing food, I mean, it was mouthwatering. We played games, and talked in the meantime, I went upstairs and slept in his pyjamas again, because I brought nothing with me from my hometown, as I didn't plan to stay this long, it's been over two weeks now.

Now I'm stood in their home, reviewing my first assessment. Coming to think of it, I only accepted this job to get money, but it seems like a full time occupation. Well, I'll have to get around that obstacle when the time comes, but for now...

My nails dug under the wax seal, scrambling the contents out of the envelope. And the letter read...

I stared into the paper with disbelief, two people, dead. And I've got to somehow unmask this killer with the clues I pick up? Kaeya didn't even do proper training. I've just been thrown into this task headfirst, for gods sake.

"What a ball-ache," I began to groan swears at myself. I marched up and down the stairs, "Stupid city, wasn't even supposed to be here this long, stupid job, stupid Kaeya, UGH!" My hands raised in frustration at the amount of work I have got to do, but in doing so, they slammed against the ceiling I was under. "OW!"

It wasn't long until I said my thank you's and goodbye's to Eula and Amber once more. I let there be no time wasted and made my way up-to Windrise.

Head held high, I triumphantly walked to the grand tree that lay in-front of me, with two blurry figures in the distance, I wanted to make a good first impression.

The figures became more defined and bigger, meaning I had gotten closer to my new team.

One of them was around my height, quite a bit taller, he had slight stubble around his jaw, yet he didn't look 'unclean', his hair was pushed back, with many cowlicks framing his forehead, deep set-chocolate brown eyes glistened in the minimal light that shone from under the tree's swaying leaves.

And for the other person...

"Oh hoho... Look who it is," he said with a big smirk on his face as he stepped towards me.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have another job to attend to?"

He chuckled, "Well I felt so sorry for what happened last time, thought I had to make up for it, by accompanying you on your first assignment,"
