Catching You

Chapter 7

Camila's POV

It's been a week and I still haven't talked to Lauren. Our parents are coming back soon and school is starting soon too.

"Camz!....Camz!" Lauren yells. I walk down the stairs and look at Lauren. "I'm ordering pizza do you want some?" I smile and nod. "Ok. Just cheese?" I shake my head "then what do you want?"

"Never mind, just get cheese," I say.

"You spoke to me!" Lauren smiles.

"Yeah so what?"

"Camz listen, we are dealing with this in the most immature way. We need to talk about this," Lauren says.

"Fine order the pizza and then we'll talk about it in my room, ok?" I walk back into my room. A couple minutes later Lauren comes in. She sits down next to me on the bed.

"I'm sorry," she says.

"For what? For leaving me alone the day that Brad beat me up? Sleeping with Emily after we both told each other we had feelings each other-"

"Had?" Lauren cuts me off.

"Honestly Lauren I don't even know anymore," I look away from her captivating green eyes.

"You don't have feelings for me anymore?"

"Feelings just don't go away Lauren!" I yell.

"So you still like me?"

"I think I'm falling in love with Lauren! That's why it hurts so much!" I yell getting up form the bed.

"Shit, Camz I'm so sorry. I was so waisted."

"Really Lauren? That's your excuse? You were waisted?"

"I'm so sorry. I was being stupid. I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry."

"Yeah whatever," I say turning my back to her and looking out the window. I feel Lauren's hands wrap around my waist, she rests her head on my shoulder.

"Will you please forgive me?" she asks.

"Why? You can have anyone. Why me?"

"Because I'm falling in love with you," she whispers.

"What?" I turn around in her arms.

"I-i'm falling in love with you Camz. A-and I'm scared. I'm scared 'cause I've never been in love. Brad and Lola don't count. They will never know how to love. I wasn't sure what it felt like so that's why I slept with Emily. I was scared and I still am. I'm so scared, Camz. I mean what if you leave me. What if i'm not enough f-" I cut her off with a kiss. I break the kiss.

"You will always be enough for me," I say leaning in again. The doorbell rings.

"Ugh," Lauren groans letting go of me and walking downstairs. She comes back with a box of pizza and sits down on my floor. She grabs a slice and starts eating it I walk over and sit in her lap. "What are you doing?" she asks laughing a little.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask she starts choking on her pizza.

"What?" she says coughing.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" she looks me in the eyes.

"Yes," she says with so much love and affection in her voice. I kiss her on lips. "Here," she says handing me a slice after we break the kiss.

"Thanks, girlfriend," I smile.

"Say it again,"she says.

"girlfriend," I say.

"Again."

"Girlfriend." 

"One more time."

"Girlfriend."

"I'm falling for you, babe... so hard," Lauren kisses me.

"Don't worry I'll catch you."

"I'll catch you too. Always," she says stroking my cheek.

"Always?"

"And forever."

"Maybe forever will be our always," I smile.

"You are my always."

"You are my forever."

"Ugh guys! If we have to watch one more second of this I think I'm gonna barf," Dinah groans from the doorway.

"Dinah!" Normani slaps her arm. 

"Where did you two come from?" I ask.

"We came in through the backdoor," they say walking in hand-in -hand.

"Whoa!" Lauren says "when did this happen?" she asks gesturing to Dinah and Mani's hands.

"What?" Dinah asks nervously "what are you talking about," she lets go of Normani's hand.

"Do you two have a thing for each other?" I ask.

"No," Nromani shoots back nervously.  

"OMG you do! Norminah!" Lauren says "it's happening babe!" she says to me.

"Stop!" Dinah and Mani yell blushing.

"Aw you two are so cute," I say.

"We haven't told anyone yet so stop!" Dinah says.

"Ok ok," I say "but guess who's officially a couple?"

"Austin and Becky," Dinah says.

"Damn.... good to know," I say "but no."

"Who?" Mani asks.

"Oh shit Camren!" Dinah yells.

"Camren?" Mani yells.

"Holy shit!"Dinah yells.

"Camren? Like you two?" Mani asks. We nod. "OMG Yas!" Normani claps her hands. Then she looks at Dinah who smashes their lips together. Lauren sit there smiling at them. Later on that night Ally come and we watch a movie together. Later that night I call Emily. I told her to meet me on the porch. I left Lauren and the other girls in the house.

"Hey," Emily says.

"Hi."

"I'm sorry."

"I know."

"Oh. Cn we still be friends."

"Sure."

"Ok."

"Do you want to come hang out with us?"

"Um... lats time I did that I slept with your girlfriend."

"I know. But I trust you."

"Ok," she says. I walk back into the hosue with Emily following behind me.

"Babe, look what Dinah and I can do," Lauren says smiling from the floor. She puts her fist up to her mouth and starts humming as song. Dinah does the same. But they stop when they see Emily. "Hey Em," Lauren says.

"Hey," Emily says.

"Come sit down girl," Normani says patting th spot next to her. We stay up till two in the morning just talking and laughing about stupid shit. Tomorrow my parents come back. Tomorrow my girlfriend and I will tell our parents about us.
