Catching You

Chapter 5

"Camz?" Lo yells I walk into the living room and nod. I haven't been talking to her for the past three days. "Our parents our face-timing us. Chris, Tay, Sofi our parents are calling us come down here."

Just at that moment three kids came rushing down the stairs. Our parents talked to us for about and hour. Lauren stared at me for almost the entire time. I would occasionally  glare at her. About twenty minute after the call they called again. 

"Hi mami."

"Hi mija, is Lauren there we would like to talk to you two."

"Ok, yeah she is just upstairs, do you want me to get Sofi, Chris or Tay?"

"No just Lauren please," she says as I make my way up the stairs. I knock on the door and walk in. We converse with our arms for a few minutes and then my mom asks me to put her on speaker.

"Lauren, hi sweaty how are you?"

"Hi Sinu, I'm fine, Do you-"

I cut her off "so mom what did you want to talk to us about," Lauren raises her eyebrows and nodded.

"Well after the call Lauren's parents and your dad and I noticed that you and Lauren didn't seem to be getting along, so we decided to take the other three kids out of the house so you two can bond."

"wait what? Where are they going to go?"

"There's a car coming to pick them up in about an hour they are coming to stay with us."   

"What? I thought that it was a parents vacation."

"It is but I saw you two and I think that it is better for you to have time to yourself's meaning that only you two bonding together. I have to go honey see you in two weeks, I love you mija, Bye."

She hangs up before I can say anything "So, lets get out siblings packed," I say reluctantly and we walk out of the room. The cab came and Chris, Tay and Sofi ran like the speed of light out of the house.

"God I didn't know we were that bad," Lauren says as she walks up to the threshold where I was standing. We wave to them as the car pulls away from the curb. I close the door and turn to Lauren. "I'm going to go to the bathroom and take a shower," she says pointing with her thumb. I nod and she jogs to the top of the stairs. I walk into my living room and right as I'm bout to sit down someone knocks on the door. 

"I got it," I yell to Lauren. I walk to the door and open it to reveal four boys and among them is Brad. 

"Hey Camille is it?" he asks I just shake my head "oh whatever I'll just call you Camille, anyways I went to Lauren's house and she wasn't there so knowing that you two would be sharing houses I came here to find Lauren but you will do, you are the one who beat me up at the party, right? You got a mean arm there Cam," she says rubbing my arm, I shake him off and he continues "these are my buddies Tristan, James and Connor. Austin and Lola are on there way. You know we all find you very attractive Cam, especially Austin he has liked you for," he pauses "how long has he liked her? the past year is it," all the boys nod "yeah the past year but you would never talk to him you were always with that chick Dinah," A car pulls up and two people get out "oh thats them there," Brad points to Lola and a boy with a familiar face as they walk up "so lets get down to business," he says walking past me causing his whole 'gang' to follow. I shut the door and go after them "so Austin this is you long lost crush Camille-"

"It's Camilla," Austin cuts him off.

"It's actually Camila, Ca-Meel-A," I say annoyed. Shut up Mila, I say to myself. 

Brad gives him one of the dirtiest looks in the world  "don't interrupt me Austin," then turns back to me "anyways back to what I was saying Austin wants to be with Camilla," did he just not hear me? "yet we all want to be with Camilla right?" they all nod "we have already all had a go with Lauren, and I know two of us are still on that train, so here's the deal, we all get a go with Camilla," he claps his hands "okay? Problem solved."
