Absolution

If there are any thoughts of forgiveness and remission for the ones who've mislead you into anguish,

Reminisce all of the misery they provoked you into and the bitterness you developed for them.

It may be mentioned as the merciful thing to do,

But giving another chance would not be wise for the well-being.

If you let them step into the confines of exclusive sanctuary,

They may be looked upon as restored to their previous, favorable position.

But the skeptical smile spread across their lips is camouflage

To tuck away the knife held behind their back from your perception.

The treacherous blade that craves for your blood and vital spirit,

The weapon they plan on splitting your heart open with,

The delicate organ that took so long to recover from the last attack.

So they can observe the crimson that drips from the sharpened steel.

Don't suffer any further from them.

They aren't worthy of absolution.
