Klaus saw that i didn't want to answer so he just let me be. Rebekah sat near me and gave me a sympathetic smile. I could see guilt in her eyes even though this wasn't her fault, she felt guilty.

Rebekah broke the silence and asked, "What exactly happened?" They stared at each other for a few seconds before Hermione stepped forward and answered.

"She was hit with the killing curse it's supposed to kill a person instantaneously but since she's a vampire I'm guessing that that's why she isn't dead yet...." Hermione paused before finishing her sentence "and there isn't a countercurse for it"

"No th-this isn't right i-" Rebekah was interrupted by Elijah putting his hand on her shoulder and saying "Sister we won't give u-" it was now Elijah's turn to be interrupted "no i mean it isn't right i once saw a vampire get hit with the killing curse and she only stayed alive for about 5 minutes before dying and it's been longer than 5 minutes so how is she still alive?"

Everyone turned around and looked at me expecting me to somehow know. I looked at them and then said, "Don't look at me i don't know why I'm not dead either."

After having been quiet for a while, Draco speaks up "Well this is a good thing, right? I mean she's not dead when she should've been dead a while ago so that must mean that she will be fine and won't die...right?"

I stand up and walk over to draco putting my arm over his shoulder and teased "I think ferret boy here is right, I feel perfectly fine now, so we can say that we were being overdramatic and go about our days like normal cause I ain't going nowhere people." Draco rolls his eyes playfully while a smile starts to spread over everyone else's face.

Remus walks over and pulls me into a hug, he then mumbled "You really gave us a scare kid." I proceeded to hug him back.

I sighed "I seem to be doing that a lot lately, don't I?"

He chuckled before pulling away and responded "Yes you do, don't make it a habit, alright?" I nodded in response.

Rebekah cautiously asked "So since we're going to go about our days like normal are our plans still in place?"

"Yeah, I don't see why they shouldn't be." I responded.

Rebekah smiled and proceeded to drag me out of the room, I smiled and waved everyone goodbye saying that I'd call them later before being pulled out of the room.
