Hi, I'm Victoria. Xavier's girlfriend—at least, that's what he calls me. He used to be so kind and attentive. I used to text him every day, and he would always respond with the same enthusiasm.
Xavi
Xavier, can you come over? I'm alone and scared :(
Seen
Of course, princess. On my way

I used to be his top priority, but now? I don't even think I'm on his list anymore. I feel replaced.
Xavi
Baby, can you pick me up? It's raining here
seen
Sorry, I need to pick up Amber
seen
Oh, okay then
He's always busy with Amber. His new "best friend." I miss him. Every day at school, I try to talk to him, but he always goes to her first.
I feel invisible—like I don't exist in his world anymore. Funny, isn't it? I still text him every day, asking how he's doing, but all I get are short replies—usually saying he's with Amber.
Xavi
Xavier, can you get me some medicine? I'm sick
seen
Sorry, Amber needs me. She's sick too
seen
Oh, okay. Get well soon for her
Sometimes, I wonder who's really his girlfriend—me or Amber? Eventually, I got tired of it all. So I decided to confront him.
Xavi
Can you come over?
seen
Sorry, I'm with Amber at the moment
seen
Why always Amber?
seen
What do you mean?
seen
Who's your girlfriend? Is it Amber? Or me?
seen
Victoria, what are you talking about?
seen
You're just the same

I turned off my phone and headed to a nearby coffee shop to clear my mind. On my way there, I bumped into someone.
"Sorry," I apologized.
"It's fine," came a deep, familiar voice.
"Ethan?" I blinked at him, realizing it was my old neighbor.
"Hey, Victoria," Ethan smiled. "Where are you headed?"
"Just to the coffee shop down the street," I replied.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked.
I shook my head. "Not at all."
We went in and found a table together. "What coffee do you want?" I asked.
"Caramel Macchiato," Ethan replied.
As I stood at the counter, placing the order, a commotion broke out behind me. "Who the hell are you?" I heard someone yell, followed by the unmistakable sound of punches.
I spun around, and to my horror, Xavier was attacking Ethan.
"STOP!" I screamed.
I rushed to them, pushing Xavier back. "What are you doing?"
"Who is this guy?" Xavier demanded, his eyes wild.
"That's Ethan! He's an old friend!" I said, trying to keep my voice steady.
"Let's go," Xavier snapped, grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the café. Once outside, I yanked my hand free. "What the hell was that for?" I shouted.
"You were cheating on me!" Xavier accused, his face flushed with rage.
"Cheating? On you? Are you serious right now?" I scoffed, disbelief surging through me.
"I knew something was off," he continued. "Turns out you were seeing someone else behind my back!"
I stared at him, stunned. "Me? Cheating? Maybe you're the one who's been cheating!"
"What the hell are you talking about?" he snapped.
"Who left me standing in the rain to meet Amber? Who couldn't even buy me medicine because Amber needed you? That's cheating, Xavier! You used to care about me, but now, it's all about her."
I felt my voice rising, the words tumbling out. "So tell me—who's your girlfriend, huh? Me or Amber? Just admit it! If you love her, then let's end this right here."
"I don't love Amber!" he fired back, but there was a crack in his voice.
"Then say it," I said, my voice trembling with frustration. "Say that you love me, Xavier Harlan!"
He opened his mouth, but no words came out. Just silence. I let out a bitter laugh, shaking my head. "That's what I thought."
I turned and started walking away. He didn't stop me. He didn't even try. It was over. I was done with him. Done with all of it.
I was a fool for choosing him.
