Chapter 12 - Escape Route

[Get out of the room] <

The door closes behind Leon.

Leon finds themself in an empty hall. Many of the windows look into their co-workers' offices. Others give a look outwards into a cold dark night that supposedly surrounds the prison.

[Go forward] <

"All of his co-workers were gone. What could it mean?"

"Leon decided to check on the prisoner's cells, maybe he could find some info there."

[Continue forward] <

The halls blended together.
Leon didn't remember what their workplace looked like anyway.

At the moment, it would be hard to try to figure it out right now. Everyone was still missing, after all.

"When Leon came to a set of two open doors, he entered the door on his left."

[Go left] <

Leon enters another hall, lined with room after room with comical-looking metal bars, as well as one cell with one heavy duty metal door left open.

"Yet there was not a single person here either."

"Feeling a wave of disbelief, Leon decided to go past the hall to the holding bay."

[Pass the hall] <

Leon passes by the singular open cell, into the holding cell.

"Stepping into the holding bay for new prisoners,"

[Get inside a trash chute] <

Before the Prompter can realize what happened, Leon slides down the chute.

Leon lands inside an indoor garbage dump. The walls and floor and lined to the bring with trash bags, soiled cups, broken plates, many a misplaced spoon and fork...
Out of place from the glorious scenery was a clean wooden double door right in front of them.

[Open the door] <

Beyond it was a vertical cylindrical hall, with metal bars resembling a ladder across the entrance. Its wall was of a gray, unpainted concrete.

[Climb the bars] <

Leon had been climbing upwards for an indeterminate amount of time. That was, up until they reached the top.

Hitting the roof of this hall, a clang like a metal sheet resounded, suggesting it may be a hatch of some sort.

[Push the hatch open] <

A light peeks in through the crack...
