[Get out of the room] <

The door closes behind Leon.

Leon finds themself in an empty hall. Many of the windows look into their co-workers' offices. Others give a look outwards into a cold dark night that supposedly surrounds the prison.

[Go forward] <

"All of his co-workers were gone. What could it mean?"

"Leon decided to check on the prisoner's cells, maybe he could find some info there."

...

[Continue forward] <

These halls were quite familiar to Leon.
... Or were they? Leon wasn't sure. They don't remember what their workplace looked like anyway.

At the moment, it would be hard to try to figure it out right now. Everyone was still missing, after all.

...

"When Leon came to a set of two open doors, he entered the door on his left."

[Go left] <

Leon enters another hall, lined with room after room with comical-looking metal bars, as well as one cell with one heavy duty metal door left open.

"Yet there was not a single person here either."

"Feeling a wave of disbelief, Leon decided to go past the hall to the holding bay."

...

[Pass the hall] <

Leon passes by the singular open cell, into the holding cell.

"Stepping into the holding bay for new prisoners, Leon was once again stunned to discover not an indication of any human life."

"Just what could be the reason that everyone would just suddenly disappear, Leon thought to himself."

"He considered that maybe it could have been a prison break. Yes, a prison break is totally the most feasable option."

"No one usually informs him of prison breaks, and his room is soundproof to keep him working all the while too."

"But how had everyone escaped, then? This prison was high on security, and there were guards everywhere after all."

"Leon then considered the room nearby, the Storage Room. It usually had an oddly large amount of escape pods, so every single prisoner and guard could have used those. Perfect."

"Having found some sense of what to do next, Leon decided that he would go check on the Storage Room for escape pods that the prisoners could have used to escape."

"But to his misfortune, the door was locked and he had no key for it."

"Unfortunately, Leon also couldn't find any sort of way to break the door, like a nearly broken off pipe on the left side of the room."

"And so, he would be stuck here until he found a way inside."

...

[Tap the metal pipe] <

Leon lightly taps the broken pipe on the wall.

"In a bout of luck: Leon heaves and pulls a metal bar in the room, effectively turning it into a makeshift crowbar."

"Maybe he would be able to open the Storage Room's door now, he wondered."

"Leon strikes the room's doorknob one time. As the knob flies off to the side, the door swings open."

The door appears exactly the same as Leon left it when they started to stare at it.

"Despite the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the Storage Room, Leon stepped inside, determined to find where his coworkers and the inmates went."

The door opens later than it should, right after the voice had stopped talking.

...

[Walk in] <

The room is dark, save for a bright light appearing from the back of the room, blocked by the various aisles of shelves.
To Leon's right, an open vent makes itself evident by the sound of howling wind.

"Leon proceeded to the very back of the room. He felt as though the final answer to his wandering would be there."

[Enter the vent] <

"Leon entered the vent, assuming the howling had come from some sort of creature."

"Now that he thought about it, the howling could just as easily have came from the shoddy old ventilation fan."

"Knowing this now, Leon got out of the vent and went to the back of the Storage Room."

...

[Continue forward] <

"Leon would eventually reach a dead end if he continued crawling in the vent."

"So to save himself the trouble, he turned around, and got back to the Storage Room."

...

[Continue forward] <

...

The vent grate slams shut when Leon stands up again.

Leon finds themself inside a small room similar in appearance to a bedroom, save for the fact that there was no such bed in the room.

On the wall is a corkboard, filled to the point of covering the brown cork with pictures of Leon in their life outside work. Multicolored thumbtacks holding these images are tied and connected with many colors of yarn.

In the center of the board is a heart shaped scrap of paper with the words 'The Propmter + Leon'. Many drawn on hearts of colors similar to the pins and strings.

...

[Jump out the window] <

Leon escapes through the only window in the room into the bright white outside.
