"Regina! Have you got a spare hairpin?" I yelled, holding my hair with my hand and waiting for a hairpin.
"Yeah! Gimme a second!" She shouted back, before coming into the bathroom with a hairpin. I took it and quickly pinned my hair into place. As an ex-assassin, I thought missions would have been the most stressful things in existence, but since last week I had realized that a wedding was infinitely more stressful.
Sherlock wanted everything to be perfect for John and Mary, and when things didn't go to plan he would be terribly moody. I tried to avoid him over the past week, which had actually been considerably easy as Ezra, Regina and I had taken down the two compounds in Europe and Asia, meaning we had managed to avoid Sherlock till last night when we came back.
"Do I look alright?" I asked Regina. She was wearing a royal blue dress with a matching hat and heels, whilst I wore the same but in a dark green silk.
"You look perfect, we should probably head downstairs."
"Yep I just need to get something, I'll be right back." I said, heading out of the bathroom to my room. I was so stuck in my thoughts that I didn't notice Sherlock in front of me, and bumped into him.
"Sorry Sher-" I looked at his suit, then up at him. My ability to speak had stopped, and I stood there gawping at Sherlock. I had never seen him in anything apart from his shirts, trousers and long coat, so this long tailcoat look was new. I didn't mind it, he looked amazing in it.
"Y/n..." His voice trailed off as he looked up and down my body, gulping slightly.
"I d-didn't mean to bump into you." I stammered, still not able to speak properly. Sherlock said nothing, continuing to gaze at my dress. Then he looked into my eyes and I froze again, before he walked off into his room whilst I carried on staring at him.
"Someone's in love." Regina chuckled from the other end of the corridor.
"Is it that obvious?" I groaned.
"It really is, it's obvious he likes you back too. Have you seen the way he looks at you?"
"I think I was too focused on him to notice..." I admitted.
"Evidently." Regina taunted. I rolled my eyes and went into my room to grab a handbag and a gun from my bedside cabinet, in case anything went wrong at the wedding. My hand went over to the locket that was lying beside it, the one that Sherlock had gifted to me the first Christmas I met him.
I picked it up, the gold shining and reflecting as it caught the rays of sunlight coming through my window. It would go perfectly with my dress, and it was also something with value to me. I smiled as I put it on, before heading out with Sherlock, Ezra, Regina and Mrs Hudson into the limousine.

"Do you, John Hamish Watson, take Mary Elizabeth Morstan to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Do you, Mary Elizabeth Morstan, take John Hamish Watson to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"Then I pronounce you husband and wife."
Mary and John shared a kiss, and the entire church erupted into applause and cheering. Then we followed them out, I stood with Regina, Ezra and Mrs Hudson whilst the photographer took photos.
"Isn't it beautiful, John's married to the love of his life." Mrs Hudson exclaimed, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.
"Sure is." I replied, looking over to where the photography was taking place. I smiled when I saw how happy John and Mary looked, but it quickly faded when I saw a brunette woman holding onto Sherlock's arm. She seemed to be flirting with him, and Sherlock was smiling at her.
