2x20 part 1

2x20 (Beside still water)

„Anything new?" Izzy asked when we were standing in the center.

„We tried tracking him together, like we did with Jonathan, but for some reason it didnt work."

„Magnus wards are up, Valentine must still be in the city."

„Teams are out doing block by block sweeps throughout the city. We'll find him."

*Beep* *Beep*

The alarm started to buzzed in the whole insitute.

„Aerial sensors."

„Is it Valentine?"

„No. Could be some kind of wraith demon."

Then we immeditely run into the streets of New York.

„Where is it?" Jace asked standing in the middle of the street.

„It should be right on top of us."

Then we heard a scream.

„I've never seen a demon like that." Said Izzy.

It circled around us.

„Can you see it?"

Then it appeared again and started heading straight for us.

„Alec!"

„Relax. I got this." He said with his bow and arrow ready.

Alec shoot right in its head. It spread all over the street.

„Nice shot." I said smiling at my brother.

But then from the small pieces were created smallest demons. They all disappeared.

When we were coming back to the institute, Clary got a phone call.

„What's wrong? Is everything ok?" Jace asked.

„That was Luke. Valentine's on his way to Idris."

„What? How?"

„He made a deal with the Seelie Queen."

„That bitch." I said loud.

„Damn Valentine."

„If Valentine gets to that Lake ..."

„He wont. Malachi's army is armed and waiting for him."

„We need to warn him. Who knows how many Circle members will be there?"

„Look, maybe my portal rune can pierce the wards."

„We cant all go. The demons need to be dealt with."

„Clary and I'll go. You three stay here and slay the beasts." Jace said.

„Fine. Be careful." Alec said to them.

„Likewise. And when am I not ever careful?" Jace asked sarcastically.

Me, Alec and Izzy were in the center.

„There's over 50 of them now, with numbers increasing. And they havent attacked once. What are they doing?"

„I dont know but demons dont usually come into our realm to sight-see. We need to find the rift where they're coming from and seal it."

„We need a warlock for that."

„Not just any warlock, Alec. The most powerful one in New York."

„Magnus is not interested in helping the Shadowhunters. He said so himself."

„He still also thinks the Seelie Queen is on their side. He needs to know about the deal she made with Valentine."

„Well, not from me. He doesnt want anything to do from me."

„Dont make this personal, Alec."

„I'm not!"

„If you dont ask him, I will." I said and started to leaving.

„Hope, wait." I stopped, smiling to myself.

Half our later in the center

„I spoke with grandma. Imogen. Despite her requests, there have been no troop movements in and out of Alicante since. When she went to Malachi to see what the hold up was, she was told he'd left suddenly."

„So, she believes Consul Malachi is actually a spy for Valentine?"

„There is no other explanation."

„Jace and Clary are in Lake Lyn with Valentine, who knows how many Circle members and no military support. We need to go help them."

„I cant leave when the city is under assault."

„What have you got?" Magnus asked.

In a ten minutes we've came through the portal.

„This is definitely the right place." Magnus said when we appeared in front of a big hole into the ground.

„What is that?" Alec pointed to the ground where was some red mark.

„Blood."

„Where did all the demons go?"

„Picnick?" I asked sarcastically.

We came closer to the hole.

„The amount of energy required to seal a rift from Edom is substantial. It's not just a flick of the wrist." Magnus said.

„You gonna be ok?" Alec asked.

„I'm the High Warlock of Brooklyn." And with that Magnus started to cast a spell.
