I sat on the couch, searching for a good movie to watch with the food I was expecting any minute now.
I heard knocking on the door so I got up and looked through the peephole.
After seeing that it was the delivery guy I opened and collected my food.
"Thanks." I said with a polite smile.
He smiled back. "You're welcome."
I closed the door and just as I put the bag on my coffee table there was another knock at the door.
Assuming it was the delivery guy, I opened the door again.
"I put your tip on the ap- " I cut off as I realized who was standing in front of me.
"Hi Cleo." she said, sounding nervous.
"Bye Simone." I replied coldly as I tried to close the door in her face but she blocked it with her foot.
"Cleo I just need ten minutes to explain what happened." she pleaded, "Please."
I opened the door back up and looked in her eyes to find sincerity.
"Five minutes or I'm buzzing security up." I said as I folded my arms, still guarded.
"You're not gonna let me in?" she asked hopefully.
I just looked at my watch and she got the message.
"Okay" she sighed, "I just came here to apologise for what you saw on that video. I know what it looked like-"
"Do you? Simone I saw you kiss that girl. And after you told me not to worry about her." I said, getting upset as I recalled the event, "I trusted you and you blew it."
"Cleo baby, I would never hurt you like that. Abigail-"
"Don't say her fucking name." I warned.
"She kissed me, not the other way around, I swear." she said as she tried coming closer to me.
I held her back by her shoulder but she took my hand in hers, and pulled me into an embrace.
Her scent brought me comfort and her warmth made me melt.
"I'm so sorry baby. I promise what you saw was not real. I love you, and only you." she whispered into my hair. "Please believe me. I can't lose you."
My heart broke when I heard her voice break. Simone wasn't a crier so I knew she was really hurting.
"She told me y'all fucked." I said but I knew it wasn't true.
"I would never do that. You know me better. I was just drunk and slow so it took longer for me to react, that's all." she explained.
I looked up at her. "You really didn't kiss her?" I asked.
She shook her head. "I swear on my life, I didn't even have the thought in my mind."
I snuggled back into her chest, listening to her heartbeat. It was steady. She was being honest.
She pulled away. "Look, you don't have to forgive me. I just wanted you to know that I love you and I was never unfaithful to you."
After she placed a kiss on my forehead she began to walk away but I held her arm.
"Nah, you're not getting away that easy." I said as I pulled her closer before shutting and locking the door.
I lead her to my room.

"Strip for me." she instructed calmly. Her demeanor had shifted, she was in her Dom mode.
