The Rescue of Rukia Kuchiki

The news had begun to spread throughout the Seireitei of the apprehention of Rukia Kuchiki for her crime of treason with an unauthorized substitute soul reaper. Jin is on his patrol duties and comes across the barracks of Squad 6. Curious to get more details about this situation, he asks if Byakuya was in. "Pardon me, is Captain Kuchiki available?", Jin asks the posted guards. One replies, "Sorry third seat Izumi, sir but the Captain is getting ready to dispacth with Lieutenant Abarai. He won't be seeing anyone until he returns". "I see, well then I suppose I will have to wait until then, good day to you both". Departing from the barracks, Jin thinks to himself, how can Byakuya standby silently while they planned to turn Rukia into a traitor? How could they come to the conclusion to Rukia's alleged treachery. Rukia is one of the most loyal people, not a traitorous person by any means at all. Something is amiss, he thought and it must be solved. Byakuya seemed rather quick to apprehend his own sister. It could be any number of obvious reasons but still, the stoic and calm Byakuya acting fast thats unbecoming. Thinking back on how things in the past had gone with the hollowfication, Jin sets his sights on Aizen and Kaname. With his suspicions in mind, he begins to execute a plan of his own in the shadows. When Rukia is brought back and is placed in the holding cell after her sentencing, Jin goes to visit her for information. "Lieutenant Kuchiki, I am Third Seat Jin Izumi of Squad nine, do you mind if I ask you some questions leading up to how we got here?". Rukia looks at Jin with eyes of sorrowful acceptance, "Is there really more to know about this?" She replies. "There is always more to know Lieutenant." Jin says in response, "So let's start at the beginning; around when you were deployed to the world of the living". Over the next three weeks, whilst Ichigo and friends were training for their operation, Jin was visiting Rukia frequently to gather all the information as to a conclusion for these events. Upon the day Ichigo and company make their way through the precipice world and arrive in the Rukon District, Jin senses their presence. With his curiosity peaked and following his duties as a member of Squad Nine, he goes to the origin which was the gate Jidonbo was guarding. As he arrived, he masked his presence sensing that Gin was in the area as well. Observing the actions of Gin, forcing not only Ichigo but Jidonbo out the gate. Jin grew cautious for he could never really tell what was on Gin's mind. Returning to the barracks after the captains meeting about Gin's unauthorized actions, Jin visits Rukia one last time, "Lieutenant Kuchiki, let me first say,Ichigo Kurosaki has made his way here." Rukia looks up in shock at his words. "However he was met by Captain Ichimaru, though he is not dead, I highly doubt he'd return. However that is my logic, you can either confirm or deny his actions based off of your personal perspective." Rukia shakes her head, "The fool, he doesn't listen to me or anyone but himself." Though she calls him a fool, she has small smile as if she's happy to hear he even showed up. "If you can, all I ask is for you to save him please Izumi." "Saving him and his friends is a understandable request, however I can attempt to have their lives spared instead of executed," Jin replies. Departing the holding cell area, Jin begins to think to himself, is there really a person that bold as to re-attempt to trespass into the Seireitei again? After what just happened, who would try again? Why would you? Is one person worth such the risk? Upon returning to the barracks, Captain Kaname is on his way out and comes across Jin.

Kaname approached him,

"Oh Izumi pardon me, I was actually on my way out to find you."

Jin asked, "Did you need something from me Captain?

"Kaname quickly replied, "Actually yes, I was going to have a talk with you about how you see the situation and what has come of your visits to Rukia Kuchiki?"

Jin follows Kaname inside the barracks and starts to divulge the information about what he had uncovered

Jin said, "The situation at hand was not as black and white as it is allegedly to be. There are still some inconsistencies in the events that lead to this conclusion."
