Those Omaha Boys

Chapter 9

When the door opened I saw my brother nick. Great, Nick has always been the protected brother and the I'm going to beat you ass if you hurt my little sister and he is only and year older than me so he is 18.

"What the fuck is going on,"Nick yells " Get you lips of my sister and stay way from her!" I've never seen him so angry it scared me. " Haley come with me we are going to talk." I heisently get up from Nates lap and follow nick to the hall way.

"Haley why were you kissing him, You know how i am with guys since Garrett and Brendan." nick says to me. Ok if your wondering who Garrett and Brendan are well Back in the 8th grade there was a party at one of his friends house and well I went and that's when I was forced to almost take shots. Brendan was really drunk and just about had sex with me but luckily Nick came in and beat the shit out of Brendan.

Garrett was the sweetest boy I knew a of that is past tense. Back in the tenth grade I was dating Garrett for about 6 months then he started to get depressed. I never knew why. Then we went to the state fair. He took me on the Ferris wheel and he stopped me at the top. And he told me to find someone who will care so much about me and that he would never stop loving me. I asked if we could go around again but he said he didn't think so. When we got to the bottom both Ben and Nick and my mom came running over to me and started to cry and hugged me. I asked what happened and then they finally told me that Garrett had died. I broke and I couldn't believe that someone I cared about is gone.

It turned out he had been shot twice on the side and he stuffed toilet paper in them. Ok back to reality

"I know Nick but I really like him,and you can't tell me who I can or can't date I'm done with you pushing me away from every guy I meet." I yell. "You know what" He got so mad he grabbed me by the neck and and shoved me up against the wall. When I looked at him I didn't see Nick instead I saw the father. Nick looks so much like him. I got so scared I started to scream. All the guys came running in and tried pulling Nick off of me.

As soon as I fell to the floor coughing and holding my neck I look up. At Nick Maddison and Nate come next to me hugging and holding me, Nick is looking at his hands with a scared expression on his look and kept repeating I'm sorry I'm so sorry. And with that he ran out the door. If your wondering my mom and Ben are out doing something and it was going to be a while. "Do you need something to drink?" Madison asks me. " can I have some water." Madison comes running back in with the water and gives it to me. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?!" Nates asks me all frantically. "I'm fine but can you guys stay the night over please." I asks with puppy dog eyes.

"Of coarse" everyone says. well this is the sleeping arrangement. Sammy and gilinsky in the 2 big round chairs. Madison and Johnson in the couch cuddling and me and Nate in my room. I slip into my pjs and Nate takes his shirt. We both get under the covers and Nate pulls me into his arms and I cuddle my face into his chest all night long with a smile on my face.
