Until we meet again (Future chapter)

I yawned as I went to turn my lamp off, exhaustion hitting me quickly and I pulled my covers up to my chest.

My eyes drifted close, my breath becoming more shallow as I attempted to sleep.

A rustle at my window shot my eyes straight open, my body frozen as I heard the soft click of the lock.

My breath stilled and I fought the urge to turn my head.

A figure stepped through, a hood covering their head as they fully reached my room.

I winced as I heard the rustling of papers on the floor, the papers I was supposed to put away.

I squinted my eyes shut, clenched my fists and quickly turned the lamp light on.

The figure moved their head fast, turning so that way their face was away from mine.

"Show yourself!" I said loudly, grabbing a pencil case on my desk and holding it as a weapon.

"Really?" The figure chuckled deeply. "You think a pencil case is going to protect you Sadie?"

Confusion was written all over my face.

"How do you know my name?"

He chuckled again and turned his head, removing the hood from his soft dark curls.

"Grayson what the fuck?" I shouted at him.

"Shh, be quiet." He hissed out.

I protested loudly again and he quickly came up to me, covering my mouth with his hand.

His other hand went to the back of my head as he heard footsteps approach my room.

"Sadie hunny?" I heard my mom from the other side of the door. "Are you alright?"

He lowered his mouth down to my ear.

"Tell her everything is fine," he pulled back and nodded, slowly removing his hand from my mouth and keeping his other hand locked on my head.

I gulped, his cold stare burning deep into my eyes.

"Everything is fine!" I said back, "I just had the tv too loud."

He nodded in approval, and I heard my mom walk away.

I shoved him back, crossing my arms as he looked down at me, his expression acting as if I broke into his room.

"Get out," I whispered. "Now."

"Not until I get what I want."

I threw the pencil case at him and winced.

"Ouch." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?"

"This," he said, grabbing the pages to the copy of my book I've been working on for months, and jumping out the window.
