A green taxi rolled along the open road as its occupants arrived in the quaint town of Morioh, S-City, Japan. The first was the driver, wearing his standard uniform consisting of a white dress shirt, a green waistcoat and pants, black dress shoes, and a white and black cap. The second was sitting in the back seat wearing a white hat and overcoat with many gold adornments draped over a tight black shirt underneath. Below her black leather belt she wore a white miniskirt with white thigh-high socks and black shoes.

The radio's static finally died down as the car drew closer and closer to the small town.
Driver: There we go. We usually pick up good reception once we pass that tower.
Sure enough, a large radio tower with power lines running into the city quickly passed them by.
Driver: Is this your first time visiting Morioh, miss?
The woman in the back was silent for a few moments, the brim of her hat covering her face and obscuring it in darkness.
Jotako: Yeah. What kind of place is it?
Driver: Morioh? Hmm... Oh! I hear the miso beef tongue is very good.
Jotako: That's not what I meant. Have there been any strange reports? Any recent incidents?
The driver scratched his head curiously, not understanding the question.
Driver: I'm not sure. To be honest, I don't really know that much about this place. Say, where did you want me to drop you off?
Jotako: ...In front of the station.
Driver: Understood.
Jotako crossed her legs while pulling out a group of photos from inside her overcoat. She sighed as she quickly put the photos away again.
Jotako: Good grief... I just hope my hunch about this place is wrong.
