The Mechanics Of Our Hearts //RuiKasa

"So Tsukasa do you have a crush" Emu asked as they continued to walk
"Woah don't you think that's a bit sudden to ask" Tsukasa looked away surprised and a bit distraught at the sudden question
"Well I just told you all about me and Nene so no not really !" She cheered
"No I don't" he lied
Not only in that sentence did he lie to himself but also to Emu, the truth was for the longest time ever he had a crush on the infamous troupes Director- Rui. Although he never fully understood his feelings himself, he never had been in love before or so some call it- therefore never really knew how to approach it. The two were often caught up in each other schemes leading to a lot of detention classes and scolding from the teachers, but for some reason it didn't bother them that they weren't really well liked because they had each other.
Even if sometimes he got annoyed with Rui he couldn't help feeling at a loss for words when it would be just the two of them alone. Emu laughed when Tsukasa said he didn't like anyone, it was almost as if he was the only one oblivious to his feelings. Eventually Emu and him parted ways since their houses went in opposite directions from another but the question still ringed loudly in his head, he went home and to his room with a sense of anxiety- he was on edge and knew what he had to do.
If he was to fully understand his feelings he had to confront them first, that meant talking to Rui about everything. He shot him a quick text and asked to meet up at a local park, Rui agreed and Tsukasa got ready.
Tsukasa headed over to the park wondering if he did the right thing, and even though he wasn't 100% sure he know he did the right thing- if he didn't do something about it when he first picked up on this it could later affect his performance later on and that was the last thing he wanted. The air was crisp and cold and he held his hands in his coat pocket, but quickly took them out upon seeing Rui sitting on a park bench nearby.
Tsukasa picked up the pace and quickly hurried over greeted by a warm smile, the two made some idle chit chat before Tsukasa brought up the reason for the meeting.
"Hey Rui I just remembered why we came here" Tsukasa nervously laughed a bit
"Oh right, well go on what did you wanna talk about" Rui asked
"Well I guess I've just been feeling something I haven't before like a weird sensation in my chest and"
"Tsukasa... are you having heart problems..? Have you went to see a doctor you know it's-" Rui rambled on
"NO NO NO that's not what I mean, I suppose it could maybe be considered a heart problem but it isn't like a physical one" Tsukasa shut down Rui's rant, it took Rui a second before he finally understood. Things went quite for a moment, and Tsukasa anxiously glanced toward Rui and then away- trying to see if he picked up on what he was laying down.
"Tsukasa, I think-"
"I think this was a big mistake and misunderstanding, uh I'll just go see a doctor like you told me" Tsukasa got off the bench and attempted to awkwardly walk away
"Well your in luck then because in this case I'm sure I'm a qualified doctor" rui stated grabbing Tsukasas hand gently
"You as a doctor...? I don't know if I'm more concerned about the patient or who would ever hire you to operate on someone- I swear you would be the one most likely to put people in the hospital then-"
"THATS BESIDES THE POINT" Rui coughed before elaborating "what I mean is that I might just be able to help you" Rui smiled
"So what your saying you understand what I meant" Tsukasa asked nervously
"I do, and I think I feel the same way" Rui confessed.
They got off the bench and strolled the park as Tsukasa told him everything, The two laughed about all the experiences they had together and how detention was supposed to bring people apart- but I guess in this case it did the opposite. They went home happily as a new chapter of their lives began, and Akito that following week on Monday wished he could finish his.
