Carnival date // Kohane x An

- background info -
Vivid Bads Squad practice lasted till about late afternoon since they were prepping for a really big show, but after they were finished it was all fun and games. An and Kohane didn't have any time for those today, because they were going out on a date themselves!

An had liked Kohane for forever and with some help of Akito and Toya she worked up the courage to finally ask her out, quite delighted by her response. Together they decided on a fun place to go but after they couldn't find one An got a suggestion from MEIKO- the amusement park! This made An a bit worried because she knew Kohane didn't like crowds, but after doing a quick google search discovered that it's open in the night and is typically less loud too! Upon making this discovery An planned a entire day for the two of them.
An's POV-
My heart beated eagerly as I couldn't wait for it to be over, normally I wouldn't be this excited except I scored a date with Kohane! I was so happy and I told everyone because I just couldn't keep it in- I think a lot of people kinda know who it is though? I'm not to sure but Akito says she's all I ever talk about. Today is the day I finally ask her to be my girlfriend too! I mean I asked her on a date but what if she only thinks we're going out as "best girlie friends" , come to think of it I don't even know if she's into girls... with that thought I felt my heart drop and started to worry a bit. I didn't realize the worried-some expression on my face until Kohane ran over and hugged me.
"What's wrong An ?! We're going out today you should be happy" Kohane frowned a bit
"Oh no nothings wrong don't worry about it! Lets just get ready and go" I bit my tongue holding back the three words I wished to say to her.
We waved good bye to Akito and Toya who were probably going back to Akito's house to hangout with some of their other friends, as we waved they gave me a encouraging smile and mouthed "don't have to much fun" with a wink.
My face went red as I huffed and turned around now being able to focus on Kohane.

We started our walk to Phonenix Wonderland, she was talking about all the fun things we would do together and about how our practice went well, I nodded my head every so often to make it seem as if I was listening more than I was. I was so worried about the final question I would ask her at the end of this, I even prepped a bag earlier before practice- it looked like my school bag but really it contained a small bear and some flowers for when it's time. She must have noticed my lack of communication because she grabbed my hand giving me a heart attack of a lifetime.
"An your doing it again" she told me slightly tighting her grip on my hand
"I know I'm sorry I just have a bit on my mind" I told her
"Well you know if you ever need anything I'm here right, your always here for me and I want to be the same way for you" she confessed
I smiled at that trying to hide my most obvious blush.

It didn't take long before we reached the park, it was illuminated with many neon colours from various rides and signs- the view was breath taking but it wasn't even close to comparing to her...It may sound cheesy but I really do love her like that. We got our passes and went on ride for ride, each one I learned something new about her for example she laughs when she gets nervous on loop rides or how she closes her eyes at the top of the drops, my heart felt as if it was dropping every-time she called my name. The time flew by so fast, we did some more rides and ate- we agreed on one more ride before we left which would be the ferries wheel. Its finally time to put my plan into action. My heart raced and I had this feeling of anxious nervousness, as we stepped onto the ride.
We both got settled and I watched as she looked out the window, taking a shaky Inhale I said "Kohane you know how I said I was worried about something earlier?" I reminded her.
"Yes, is everything okay?" She asked a bit confused and nervous
"Uh well I have something I need to tell you" I stated
"Whatever it is you can tell me, I promise I won't judge" she told me
I bent over to get my bag messily laying on the floor, I felt my heart began to flutter as I opened the bag revealing the items inside.
I picked up the bear and looked at her and said "Kohane I'm in love with you, and today I wanted to just say that I didn't wanna go as just friends but I didn't know if you saw it that way and I was wondering if you wanna be my girlfriend- it's okay if not I-" I blurted out consciously feeling very unlike my normal confident self
When I didn't get a answer I opened my eyes to see her laughing a bit, "An you didn't really think that I thought this wasn't a date did you" she lightly laughed
"Wait so you knew-" I asked
"Of course I knew! I've liked you literally since the day I met you- which is uh why I thought maybe you also thought this wasn't a real date and I brought this" she told me taking out a bear like mine.
We exchanged glances and laughed for a good while, and I gave her the bear as she did the same to me.
"So does this mean we're like dating" I smiled
"No definitely not" she rolled her eyes sarcastically
"No I'm just teasing! Yes it does!" She smiled
I hugged her from the other side, and we watched as the Ferris wheel began its descend.
Once we reached the bottom I picked her up and spun her around in a circle as she laughed, putting her down with a kiss on the forehead.
"Well I think its about time we go! But as your responsible GIRLFRIEND I will be carrying you home"
"Oh come on an you don't have to carry me I can walk" she said tiredly
Ignoring her protests I picked her up piggyback style and she almost instantly fell asleep, I smiled knowing that I would be able to live nights like these with her forever.
Before she fully dozed off I wanted to say those three words, and so I did even if she doesn't remember or didn't hear them.
"I love you"....
