Caroline's POV
I sat anxiously in the stuffy airport, glancing around at the other passengers. Families, people who looked like they were going on business trips. All these people were so different, but were all going to the same place as my best friend, Alice,and myself. Los Angeles.
You see, Alice and I were making our final plane trip across the country to LA. We were going to get ready fly out of JFK airport in 15 minutes time. Our friends, who were all a year older, Started college in LA, though it was June now. Alice and I just graduated High School. We had already made many trips to get basic stiff set up, and moving into the same neighborhood as our friends.
I glanced over at Alice. She had a single earbud in and had her nose in the 3rd Harry Potter book, Prison of Azkaban. Alice was re-reading the series for the 5th time. She had long light brown hair,and fair skin, which glowed in the late Morning light. Not a cloud in the sky. LUCKILY, that meant perfect weather for our long flight. I HATED turbulence.
I stood up and decided to stretch my legs before the flight. I made my way out of the waiting area,nearing tripping over several of people's bags,which earned me a few dirty glances. I scanned the airport once again. It was HUGE, considering me and Alice were from a small town, and JFK was in New York. I Typically don't like being in huge public places like this because of my social anxiety, but I made the exception to look at the exceptional view from the windows. I pulled out my phone to take a few photos, and I got a few weird glances from that too. Psh. They have no appreciation for photography.
I looked up at one of the huge screens,and realized my flight was boarding in 10 minutes, so I headed back to my seat.

Within half an hour, I was looking out of the window seat of the plane waiting for take off. I played with the button on the sleeve of my red and black flannel, tapping my leg up and down nervously. I've been on planes quite a bit the past few monthes,but I still don't like taking off, and especially landing.
I decided to check by phone for messages from my friends,I found quite a few:
Hannah: Just saw online your plane took off! Get here safely Ketchup(my nickname) or me and madison will come find you! xo
TARA: Cant WAIT to finally see you again baE
Sophia: Ahhh so excited to see you again ketchup!!
I smiled at the texts and put in by earbuds. VooDoo Doll by 5sos started playing and I smiled even wider as I gazed out of the window during take off.

California is so hot, even in June. the sun was beginning time set, tones if crimson and pink started to tint the sky. Me and Alice just pulled up to our official house, and all our friends were in the front yard to welcome us. I took the time to hug them all, it's only been 2 weeks, but I've missed them.
First I squeezed Tara extremely tight, she was a few inches taller than me, and had dirty blond hair, shocking blue eyes, nd a black lip ring. She was the girl to introduce me to the others years ago,so we always had a pretty special connection. She was extremely funny and was always there for me. Tara used to live in Ireland,and still had the accent.
"YAY!!Caro! I've missed you," she practically screamed in my ear. I grinned and laughed a bit, " I've misses you too tara,"
Then I hugged Madison and Hannah. Both had moved from Missouri. Madison had the prettiest blue eyes I'd ever seen, and they looked even better with her red hair.
Hannah had medium brown hair, and was fairly tan. She was always so nice to me and I loved talking to her. We both laughed and grinned at our awkward mini group hug.
Then I squeezed Sophia and Danielle in my arms. Sophia was actually from Puerto Rico, so she definitely made the biggest move. She was probably the most kind and understanding person I've ever met. She had glasses, and long dark hair.
Danielle was equally as kind and gorgues. With her brown hair and tan skin. I loved seeing these guys, and now we were neighbors.

We all went inside and I got the chance to throw my few bags into the bedroom I picked. I went into Alice's room while she was looking her bags into her room.
"This is going to be great" I grinned at her,
" First sure" Alice laughed and we went back down the dark wood stairs to the other girls .
They were a laughing mess, because it seemed they were trying to catch popcorn with their mouths. Gosh I love by dorky friends.
Alice and I sat down on the couch across from them and started doing the same. I threw one up and caught it perfectly and threw by hands up in victory.
"WOO I AM THE MASTER POPCORN CATCHER PERSON"
Tara threw 2 you at a time and caught them both and stood you to match me,
"BOOM BETCH" everyone went 'ooohhh ' and the rest of the day was spent basically doing stupid stuff like that, and overall just spending some great time with eachother. I could tell this was a great decision.
AYE! So yeah this is the beginning of my new story and yesh. I will try to update as much and possible and I really hope you enjoy this story! I'M really excited. Btw all the friends are based off my REAL friends as follows:
