I woke to extremely loud chirping and the bright sun in by eyes. I groaned and look at by alarm clock, 10:45 am. Ugh. Jet Lag was getting to me, but I stretched my stiff limbs and rolled out of bed. Like literally, I ROLLED off my bed and onto the ground. Not so smart when you have wooden floors,even though I had a fluffy rug next to me bed.
I glanced around my room. My guitar case sat on the far side if the room, unopened since before me and Alice left for the airport.
My eyes fell on my own reflection in my full length mirror. I we as still in yesterday's cloths, minus the the flannel. Back skinny jeans a Black tee shirt. Hey, at least my hair is colorful. Not to long ago I died it an ombre blue. My hair was a mess, but luckily I don't wear make-up so my face was okay.kinda.
I just decided to LET IT GO (I'M sorry lmao) and I went to find Alice already in the kitchen. She laughed at me,
"What's so funny?" I asked groggily
"You. You literally look hung over Caroline" she started laughing even harder, even though she knows I refuse to drink alcohol. I just grabbed some pizza from last night,since the girls didn't leave until about 1:00 am.
After scarfing that down I jogged back upstairs and flopped on my bed. I loved how the sun reflected on by wooden floors, so that's what ended up in my snap chat story. Yeah,I can be a typical white girl sometimes. Judge me.
But I remembered Sophia and Danillewas going to shower me around the neighborhood today at noon. Outside by window, I could tell today was beautiful. The sky was a bright blue, and there were hardly any clouds.
I took a quick shower and threw on black shorts and a camo shirt, nit really caring about my appearance that much today. Not that I really ever do,though.
I checked my phone, 11:45. I had time. I unzipped my guitar case and decided to play a few songs. I've always loved music,probably more than anything or anyone first that matter. In fact, even at 18, I've never kissed a guy it dated someone. For multiple reasons though.
I started playing "Missing You" by All Time Low (one of by favorite songs everr) and singing. I was never all that talented at singing,but I never cared either. When I was almost down Alice showed up in my doorway.
"Hey, I know you'll be with Danielle and Sophia today,but I have to go,um,somewhere"
"Okaayyy then. See ya later. "
That was weird. Alice never kept secrets from me. Ever. Plus WHERE would she go anyway? She must have planned it last night. I had fallen asleep earlier than everyone else on the couch. Eventually though, the girls had woken new you and told me to move my fat ass upstairs.
I'LL just find out later because just then I heard the doorbell. I ran down the stairs, almost crashing into the wall. I opened the door time see Danielle and Sophia beaming at me.
We walked out into the warm Cali day after our hellos. The sun was burning on the pavement and the grass swayed in the light breeze. A seemingly perfect day.
We walked along the sidewalk and past the other girls' houses. I jumped into a puddle that splashed onto by black vans and my legs. I laughed and so did Sophia and Danielle, even though I splashed them as well.
Sophia looked up and pointed ymto a house across the street.
"That's Danny and Paul's house," she didn't need to explain, I watched their YouTube channel. What confused me was that Danielle had to supress laughter at the mention of Danny. What was going on? I just ignored it though, probably some joke from last night I wasn't making the connection too.
We kept walking occasionally making sarcastic comments about the most random stuff, and falling apart in laughter. Typical Us.
Then me reached the next street over, and Danielle pointed to a house to by right.
" That's Johnnie's house, " I watched him,also. I looked around the neighborhood and realized how nice it was. Almost every lawn was perfectly cut and a shade a bright green. There were few extremely huge trees which I really liked.
There was a neighborhood next to ours,but we didn't wander into it.
Once we got back to by house, we just chilled in my lawn being the weirdos we are,blasting music and laughing. Up until a song ended and the other 2 girls smirked at me. I was utterly confused until I turned around to see Danny,Paul, and Johnnie standing on the sidewalk trying to hide their laughter. They weren't doing so well. I prayed that they hadn't seen by horrific dance moves to "FLAWLESS "by Beyonce. But judging by their laughter they probably did.
We awkwardly introduced ourselves and Danielle turned the music back on. The 3 boys joined us as we jammed and git to know the boys in the yard until the sun started to set and an orangy glow set upon the sky.
It was truly the best afternoon everr.

After my friends left I was pooped. But soon after Alice came home.
"Whered you go anyway?"
"Ohh nowhere, you'll find out in a few days." She grinned.
"Okaayyy??" I was getting even more confused, but I just LET IT GO (haha) and retreated to by room for the night.
