Skyler and my surprise

I missed my family like crazy! My dad called yesterday but I left my phone at home, so I didn't receive the call till I got to my dorm at midnight! My brother, he's starting highschool in about a month, so that means he'll be more focused on girls then on family, so I can't really call him! My mother, she is sick, I wish I could be there to help but I'm stuck here for another 3 months! Jason, well he was came over a few times, but lately he's been worried of his parents then me so uh that leaves me here alone- on a Saturday! What about friends? You ask, well my friends and I went out yesterday so today they probably feel like they wanna spend time with there boyfriends instead of me... moan.

Five hours later... "Hey Skyler! How you been?" Skyler ran and hugged me. Her hug was warm as usual. She smelled like flowers as usual. "I've missed you, that's how I been!" I laughed and hugged her. She smiled. "So where is he?" I laughed. "Jason! Skyler's here!" Moments later, Jason and Miracle came outside. Skyler's face lit up like the Fourth of July! "You have a daughter!" Skyler said jumping with joy. I looked at Miracle-"Not really, this is Miracle, my um friendish daughter." Skyler went from happy to confused.

"What?" She asked now turning back around to me. Jason came closer to us. He let go of Miracles hand. And they both stared at me. "Skyler meet Miracle. Miracle meet Skyler. Skyler, Jason and I adopted Miracle but we gave full right to her grandmother." I said not wanting anymore awkwardness. Skyler bet down. "Your gorgeous, Miracle." Skyler said. Miracle smiled,"Thank you." Skyler nodded and looked back at me,"Now I understand. " I laughed and hugged her.

"Hi, you most be Jason." Skyler said. Jason came behind me and held my hands. "Yes we've meet before, we were in Highschool together!" Skyler lit up,"Oh yeah sorry! Well hi again. Wow its been months, huh?" Jason nodded and pushed my hair behind my ear. I smiled. Miracle broke the silence when she asked,"Are we just gonna stand here?! Because my legs hurt, daddy!" Jason picked up Miracle and walked inside.

"She calls you guys mommy and daddy?" Skyler said as we followed. "Yes, that's because she knows we love her like a daughter." "Oh, so how old is she?" I pushed my hair back,"She's eight." Skyler lit up again! "Wonderful!" I nodded. She put her hair in a ponytail before saying,"So have you and Jason did it yet?" I giggled at her. "Yes, why?" I laughed hard. She looked at me,"Because its been a year! You guys should have did it like three times by now!" She joked. I laughed,"Uh no." She smiled,"Right...Was it fun?" I thought for a minute... "It hurt! But it was humorous not fun." She laughed,"Humorous?" I nodded, "Yeah, why are we talking about this again?" She shrugged. I laughed.

About a minute later, we walked into my dorm room. "Took you long enough, mommy!" Miracle said pulling on my dress. I nodded,"Sorry pumpkin, what's the matter?" Miracle smiled,"I'm tired now so daddy said he will just take me home!" I smiled, "Well Ms.Grump, I'll see you after school tomorrow!" Miracle laughed and hugged me. Jason hugged me and took Miracle outside.

"How cute are you guys!" Skyler said when I turned around. I laughed, "Hungry?" "Yes Brianna!" She laughed and turned on the TV. I smiled and walked to the kitchen. 30 minutes later, I finished cooking and ate with Sky.

"So how's college back in Michigan?" I asked Skyler. She cleaned her face,"Great! Only bad thing about it is your not there." I started to cry, "Omg really?" Her face said it all. I hugged my best friend tight. Skyler laughed it off. "So how's your studies?" She asked. I took a bite before saying, "Good, the thing is its a lot harder than I planed it to be." Skyler nodded and took a bite. "How's Jason's studies?" I pulled my hair back,"Its easier than mine, he just doesn't know it yet." Skyler finished her food,"Interesting, so are you guys really that serious?" I thought for a minute.
