Headlights

Its been a month! Springs right around the corner! My family is coming to Massachusetts this Saturday! This is going to be fun, right?

"Hey beautiful." Jason said hugging my side. I hugged his back before saying, "Hey, how you been?" You see Jason had to focus for 3 weeks for his exam. He didn't call me he just told me, once. But that's ok because school comes first!

"Don't play the card with me, you know I had that exam! You know we couldn't get together because of it!" He said rolling his eyes. I blinked. Ok? I looked at his eyes to study his face. Pissed... "Right. I'm sorry. My fault. So you wanna go play with Miracle?" I spike, feeling him let go as we walked. He looked down to me. (I am 5'9 he's 5'11) "Sure, I miss our baby." He spoke hugging me again. You see we adapted Miracle! But we gave full right to her grandma. (She's 8 years now!)

We walked about half way till he said, "Do you ever want to have kids of our own, you know after college?" I glared. "Um, of course. But maybe after marriage." I said looking at my feet. He laughed. "Cool!" He spoke hugging my waist letting me walk in front.

When we finally reached the park, we saw Miracle and a little boy swinging together. "You need a push?" The little boy asked. Miracle looked at him. "Sure." She smiled letting him push. We walked over.

"Hey, this is my friend Daniel." Miracle said looking up. I smiled. "Hi, I'm Brianna." I said letting my hand out. He shook my hand. "Are you her mommy?" He asked me. I paused. "No, I'm something like that." He smiled. He looked at Jason. "Are you her daddy?" Jason glared. "No, I'm her special friend." Jason said picking Miracle up.

"No Daniel they're not my parents. They're my secret savers." Miracle giggled. Daniel smiled. "Well cool, my daddy said time to go." He pointed. We all waved. "Grammy's on the bench, so you guys don't have to take me home." She smiled. "Bye." She finished.

We walked back to Harvard. We entered my dorm. I laughed. "Like what you see?" I asked refering to my dorm's furniture. He gulped. "Yeah I like that red lace." He joked. I smiled. "Nope!" I said putting on some baggy sweats and baggy T.
Skip to Saturday...

"Hey beautiful!" Mom screamed. She started her tears. "Brianna baby girl!" Dad yelled kissing my head. I smiled. Jason was in the car. "Hey everyone." I said looking at them. "Bri!" Brad hugged. I hugged him back. "Let's go." I commanded. We got in my new car. They sat in the back while Jason drove and me right by his side, holding his free hand.

At my dorm: "Wow Bri, I like what you've done!" My dad said taking a sip of his drink. I smiled. "Well I am so fashionable that I had to make it my own." I said to him walking away. Jason followed me to the far room.

"You've missed them, huh?" He asked as I let my hair down. I smiled, trying not to make him sad. "Yes, but there here, and we can always talk on the phone." I said brushing my hair. He smiled. "At least you can fix the puzzle pieces." He frowned. "Jas don't say that! Nobody's perfect." I smiled. He looked up. "Yeah your right." I sat on his lap. I kissed his nose. Then I kissed his cheek. Then I got up. I walked up front. My family was watching TV.

"So how's grandma?" I interrupted. Dad glanced at me. "Still dependent on us." He said taking his eyes off me now to Jason who was behind me. I smiled ackwardly.

"Hello Mr and Mrs. Johnson." Jason said looking at them. My dad glared. "Hey kiddo." My dad smiled. "Join us you two." Mom said waving to come. I moved to my sofa. Sitting next to my mother. My brother on the floor, my dad next to him. Jason sat next to me. My mom smiled. "Cute", she mumbled. I froze. Jason glared. " Are you guys a couple?" Mom whispered. I grinned. "Yeah" I whispered back. She smiled hugging me. I smiled watching TV. Mom was definitely getting old. Her hair, gray threads all over. Her eyes a little wrinkled. Her eyes going blind, she wears glasses now. Her hands growing softer with whinkle fades.
